I have noticed light brown spots starting on only the top buds of the braches. It is a Lemon Kush strain under 600 watt hps Adjust a Wing, about 14 - 19 in away from the canopy. i havent really seen it progress into the bud it self but mainly on the sugar shake leaves. Check it out, let me know if u have any ideas.

Could be nute burn, botrytis, lights too close to plants, rust mold. Do you have any better pics of other buds? Adjust a wing's aren't vented so make sure you have plenty of air moving in the canopy. 14-19" away from the plants is a good height as long as it's not really hot. Do you have an oscillating fan on them?

Yah, what this guy said. I can not see the buds good enough to see what is going on.

More information would be very helpful. What week are you in flowering? How long of a flowering period does that strain usually have? Is it close to the end of this time period? If so, have you dropped the nutrient level from a higher level? What kind of system were you using? Soil? Hydro (rockwool) Or maybe Coco?

A wild guess here? I would say you are getting close to the end of flowering, and you left the nutrients high, and that maybe you are starting to over load your grow medium with left over nutrients. In other words, the soil or what ever is getting Hot.

Well i have two fans going, and an exhaust fan. None oscillating. I first notice it in beginning of week 6. i am not exact on the flowering time for the lemon kush. and no i didnt drop the nut. levels, only once i started flushing w/ water before harvest. i am using Roots Organic fertilizer w/ Coco and clay beads.

this looks to me like burns of some kind probably nute, i have seen them when the lights are too close or when nutes have been sprayed onto the leaves aswel, but most probably nute burn...

Coco and Clay beads? You mixing them together or what? And what is the NPK of that nutrient? Have you been checking PH, and if so have you checked the PH of the run off. What is the temps at the top of your canopy. And can you get better pictures? Something more focus'd.

By clay beads are you talking about hydroton rocks? If so, mixing coco and hydroton isn't going to do anything for you. You're taking a medium like coco that retains tons of water and only needs to be watered every 1-3 days and mixing it with a medium (hydroton) that needs to be watered multiple times per day. I use straight coco and love it. If anything, mix you coco with perlite or fox farm. i.e. Something that will work with coco. The rocks are just creating negative space in your containers since the roots can't penetrate them.

just my 2 cents

Right on thanx for all the info. Found out that my ph run off is SUPER low. and i will start backing off on the nuts maybe starting week 4 flowering until final flush? i am considering switching everything over to Roots Organic soil instead of the Coco. What feeding cycle do you use with just the straight Coco?

and yes i am mixing them together about 15% clay beads. 72-77 degrees daytime. 68-75 night time. found out ph has been really low for a long time. so if i have a really low PH and i start watering w/ 6.3 PH, will that stress and stunt growth?

Nomanisnf, I do not even like to add perlite or or anything to my COCO. But to each his Own. But I have to agree on if these are Clay Hydroton Beads, then you are just wasting root space and if anything hurting your grow.

Ace Montana, Shoot for a Run off PH of 5.4-5.8, at least i do.

I don't mix anything either. I use straight canna coco in 2 gallon pots. I usually have to water every other day. Sometimes 3 days if the temps are low. I keep my pH at 6.0. I used to use hydroton and flood 4 times a day with pH 5.8 nutes. When I switched to coco a grower I know told me to up the pH to between 6 and 6.2. I don't know why the .2 pH addition but it seems to be working fine.
