Don't you just love this part of the grow cycle? :weed:

This is my 16th grow using the same setup since my first grow just over 4 years ago. I use a Homebox L with a 400w HPS. I've recently added a Dyson oscillating fan to replace my fixed Honeywell fam. Otherwise, nothing new

I grow in soil and use a variety of organic nutrients and additives. I love the results I get with organics, and find feeding the soil to be a much better way of gardening than feeding the plant directly.

I strated this grow from clones with the following strains:

3x Candy Kush
3x Peace Maker (AKA Great White Shark)
2x Maple Leaf Indica

I vegged the girls for about 3 and a half weeks, and topped all of them. Some responded better than others.

It's day 37 of 12/12 lighting and things are looking good :)

I had a problem with massive differences in the heights of the plants, so I raided the shorter ones by placing them over empty containers so that the canopy would be more uniform.

I've been feeding them every 2 out of 3 waterings with a mix of BioBizz, General Organics and BioNova products. I have also been trying a new (Dutch) organic blooming product by Atami called BioBloombastic and so far I like what i'm seeing.

Here's a shot of the canopy:

Here's a shot of the 3 Peace Makers on one side of the tent. While extremely short, the bud formation is quite impressive! even the lowest buds are swelling up more than the other strains.

Here's one of the Candy Kush. It looks like they'll be finishing sooner than the rest.

Do follow my grow if you like what you see ;-)

Thanks guys! appreciate the kind words.

This might sound silly, but in my four years of growing I've never grown the same strain twice. I like to try strains I've never smoked before, and always try to have at least 3 different strains on hand. Eventually I would like to try "mastering" one strain, but for now there's so much to taste :weed:

Day 46 of 12/12

The girls are budding along nicely. Picked up some General Organics Urtica for the added iron (helps with aroma) and other microelements.

Canopy:

one of the Maple Leaf Indicas. Looks about a week or two away from chopping time.

The 3 Peace Makers:

Week six?...... Here are my 12/12 plants....it has been 2 months!

I am starting to wonder if I ruined the flowering cycle on the big plants by topping them.

The smaller plant in the upper left of the first picture is starting to flower just fine, It is not 2 months old though and hasn't been touched

Did you top the plants when they were flowering? all my plants are topped, but I do so about a 10 days or so before flipping the lights.

Topping when flowering puts enormous stress on your girls, and could cause them to hermie. Plus the two new colas won't be able to grow so long.

Mind you my plants were started from clones, which generally mature faster (from vegetative to flowering state).

Do you have nay sort of light leaks? they do look way behind for 2 months...

Oh I thought you meant week six of 12/12 from seed lol makes more sense now. How long did you veg them for?

They were started 12/12 from seed so there was no flip and no light leaks either. I am thinking I topped too late. It was hard to tell what stage the plants were in cause it was my first time doing 12/12. They started stretching and showing sex in week 3 which is very early to me. Pre flowering started in week 4 and they have just been growing ever since.... I am guessing I topped way too late when they were in there transiton from pre flower to full flower and it set them back.

Like I said they were 12/12 from seed so everything is happening earlier than it does for your normal grow.
