Week 6 of flower issues

Hey y'all,

I can't seem to figure out why or what deficiency is happening. I'm very consistent on my feeding along with plain water + calmag & seaweed extract supplements at a consistent pH of 6.7 to 6.8, MAX. I water accordingly to weight test and experience. I've been growing for 5 short years.

*_____. Grow set-up Backround info ._____*

- (X2) HLG65 lights within a 2X2 tent
- Temp: 25C/77F & Humidity: 52%
- Fans, intake, exhaust & Osolating etc...
- Soil: ( Promix HP )
- Strain: Blue Gelato by Barney Farms
- Flowering: 12/12
- Stage: Week 6

( ALL comments, questions or concerns are welcomed. Thank you for taking the time out to help me. Respect. )

If its just promix then you should be feeding it similar to coco, when you feed it should have good runoff, then water once or twice.Repeat,The runoff washes out the old nutes. This works well if your pots are full of roots, there no fear of over watering.
Maybe to far along with this grow but try it next run.

That's what I was thinking, to far along, just ride it out.

I always use a gallon or gallon and a half on each pot and they are 5gal pots. I get 20% run off each time typically. Is that not sufficient? I also feed every other water and the one I don't put nutes into I use calming and seaweed extract. So I would think it's getting the proper nutrients. I can even see burnt tips from to much nutes so I don't think it would be a good idea to feed each water with full nutes... I may be wrong tho.

Ok well you cant have too much runoff,as you said just feeding to much. The kelp extract im not so sure off. I do see brown spots on the veins like a Ca lock out from something else that is off.

Im feeding some plants now in veg,old promix from my garden.I feed low like .8EC every time with lots of runoff. These plants looked like shit a month ago and r now really green. So like coco, feed to runoff every time. 2-3 times a week i dont let them get too dry or they'll need a heavy flush.

Maybe you need to choose a better nutrient line because pretty much every grower in promix uses a ph under 6.5 and has no issues. If you go above 6.5 Iron and manganese become less available to the plant.

I use ProMix. As stated above, the sweet spot for ProMix is pH of 6.2. I’m using Jacks 321 nutrients, and feed every watering. However, occasionally, maybe every 4-5 feeds in flower, I pH to 6.5. I find this helps with some of the nutrient uptake. But 6.2 is where u need to be.

Im using Fox farm tiger bloom in flower too , im also week 6. Every time i use it , it hurts my babies. Im thinking its too much nitrogen. My thoughts, like i said we are in similar boats; im gonna get more run off next time, and keep PH around 6.2. No more extra stuff for me, ... Rounding the corner to Harvest baby!!

I've heard this and tried but ended up with more deficiencies.
Check the PH of your run off. How long have the plants been in the same pot? I read this post a long time ago basically a guy message the techs at PROMiX and the Promix people said the soil can only Buffer the feed water for so long. So the PH your roots are experiencing might not be the same PH you are watering at.

I originally looked all this shit up when I had some plants that just spontaneously started having crazy deficiencies. They were in the same pots for about 2-3 months of veg. Anyway I measured my run off and it was high I'd flush with 5.5 pH and 7.8-8.0 was coming out the bottom. So I repotted the plants that were saveable and suddenly my run off was waaaay closer to my feed pH.

Edit: also I am not saying to repot during week 6 of flower. It might be too late in flower to do much but I'd try to get the pH in the pot right or at least get your run off to come out in a good range.

They don't look that bad to me. I like the bud structure, nice and chunky. They look pretty mature for 6 weeks. I need to put that Blue G on my list to try. If it was mine I would have vegged a little longer and blasted them with HPS light. That my not be possible in your little tent so I think it looks as good as it could. I'm not a runoff guy because i feed light in the first place. That plant doesn't look big enough or robust enough to drink a 5 gal pot of water. I like my plants to drink all their water in 2 days maybe 3.

After further investigation we have confirmed there is a slight PM issue as well as pH issue. I will be correcting all these tonight.
