week 7 of flower, need to finish on week 8??

Got abit of a dilema, im on my 7th week of flower, and my girls are in flush, ready to finish on week 8, all indicas.

Im actually moving house and havnt been able to extend my current tenancy, taking into account dry time, and converting the room back to its normal state has me finsihing bang on 8 weeks.

Ive always done around 9 weeks before chop, im wondering will chopping a week early have any type of big effect on the overall quality??

You know that depends on the finish. If the trichs are clear mostly it will suffer a little in quality.

Yh its like 50/50, some are cloudy others are clear, some are even an amber color, very inbetween on all really, it looks n smells great but im worried it may not be as good but i suppose i have no choice but to find out..

If they are 50/50 and you are on a deadline I would chop and not worry about it. Better than if it had happened halfway through vegging a crop.

True, ive taken down amnesia haze at 9 weeks before and thats a 12 weeker, and that was still amazingly potent.

I'd only worry about the weight that you'd lose but the quality will still be there iv used a product in the past called "ripen" and it worked,
When u grew the amnesia how much did it stretch and yeild in comparison with previous grows ?

Doesn't sound like you have a choice, plus they look great. I'd say your fine.

It was on my first ever grow, got a free amneisa seed, not knowing it was a 12 week strain, ran it along side some chronic lights and afghan kush, and it yielded about 5 oz but then so did the majority of the other plants, with 2 of the chronics yielded 6 oz, as for stretch i cant recall,only difference i remember is it still having milky white pistons from top to bottom... think i have a picture of it if i can find it...

Look's very nice well done dude top result that for its age,i think that you might find that you will get away with the time frame you got in mind any how,like some one said early the only thing that will be effected is the end weight,its during the last 3 week that the plant's bang the weight on.

Though test i have done over many years,the last two week are very important,weeks 8/9,or in some cases 7/8.Does not sound a lot of time but a week in growing is a long time,But some times you gotta do what ya gotta do,just chop if need's be and move on to the next,

Here she is at week 7. 5 days, my friend reckoned if she had gone the duration she would of yielded close to 8 oz ... and even with 9 weeks she was still a killer smoke.. defo has the potential, but it was a 12 plant X 2000w hps grow, i think that has alot to do with the yield.. first grow,, xmas last year and i ended up with more bud than i knew what to do with lol

Ive only been growing since last xmas so im still unsure of what kind of impact it will have, but it seems ill be ok, but i get what you mean about the final 2 weeks i suppose when a plants dying its thc production would go through the roof.. im not to concerned about the weight as they feel nicely condensed... it will be abit over 8 weeks.. gonna give them there final watering on wednesday night, final lights on thursday night, let them totally dry out while leaving them in darkness for abit.. so before chop it will be around 8 weeks and 3 days...

I would not leave in darkness waste of growing time ,leave the lights on 12/12.

Once you are ready ,chop them, that is the only time i would have the plants in darkness,just let the medium dry out,then chop and hang in a dark room with fan's on it,to be honest i do not think it has to be dark just not hot,normal room temp.

great job dude for the first year,very nice looking bud's.

That bud on the right in the second picture,is just perfectio,over a oz dry by the look of it,

By the look of the pitch,i say a loft grow by far the hardest place's to grow in my opinion,for some reason every loft grow i have been in have run really hot.A friend of mine makes a fortune making
hood's for loft's,he makes the hood's to the pitch of the roof so they slot straight in,with a 12"fan it enables you to run 3/4 600's.

Light mover is another option that i have sen used to good effect in loft's,but looks like that loft is dialed in perfect,just hope you can get the next,room same.Should be able to looking at this grow

What strain is this mate and what was the light method eat that is an absolute monster.

The loft is amazing in winter, but in summer im lucky if i can run a 600w without running into the mid 80s, my space fits 12 plants max and it is has around 4ft including the light space, topping is a must, snapping a few of the main heads is also a must otherwise they end growing past the lights, even with short indicas like afghan kush they pretty much fill there space within the first 2 week of flower, and i wont veg over 5 weeks its just not worth the risk..

My new place has an attic with 8ft in height and its around 3 x bigger than the one im in now, it feels so good to able to walk around as oppose to crawling around on my knees.. cant wait to set up.. gonna build a little veg room so i can start with clones instead of seed, something ive had to do through paranoia of not wanting to ask anybody for cuttings, and a flower room so they can be in constant rotation, nothing big, rather then get caught with a shit load of plants im just going to grow bigger plants, longer veg times and bigger pots, thats my plan anyway...

Amnesia haze, there was 12 plants under 2000w, and she was on week 7 of flower and couldof gone for another 5 week but i cropped her at 9 week..

Well i decided to give them the chop today thought id share a few pics, some of the main stalks are literally the size of my arm, hand included, and there so dense i cant even pull the buds apart, which worries me as i hear the bigger more condensed buds means more chance of mold..
Anyway im fucking stoked to see how phat some of the girls have got, its just a shame they have to shrink so much when they dry..
7 days and it should be good for brown paper bags, i hate using jars to cure, brown paper bags sealed for a week, then into plastic tubs lined with brown paper sealed and aired every 24hours, i know alot would say you need to cure in jars but brown paper bags and tubs have always worked better for me...
Im predicting around 30 oz dry off my 7 plants, maybe abit more...
