Week 7 On veg... How do they look?

Today is day 51 of veg (from transplant after germ to today). On the (L), she’s 6.5” and on the (R) she’s about 4.75”. They’ve had the same conditions and there’s a lot of differences in size..
Do they look stunted? Should I maybe just go ahead and try to flower — not so much worried about quantity over quality.
This is my first grow, stealth, under ViparSpectra V450 on regular 18/6 light schedule.. Also, they did just go through a trim. Will post the before pics in comments..

Why did you trim them? They do look small for 7 weeks of veg, but they’ll stretch out in flower.

yes if there from seen and 51days old they are smaller then they should be and thats probably because you are only using the blue switch on your ViparSpectra it is best to use both boom and veg switch at the same time even if you're only in the vegetative stage
also yes the ViparSpectra will grow a plant just fine but in all honesty it a shit light and don't worry i got them for my 1st light even still use it for veg atm but the sooner you can buy a real led or cob it be for the best
.
if it was me id put both switches on and keep vegging for a few weeks maybe re pot to something a bit bigger after reporting wait 1 week then flip not saying that what you should do just saying its what i would

if you intend on using that ViparSpectra next grow just make sure to use both switched from day 1 and the plant will grow better

Also the ViparSpectra was free lol but for sure want to look into a better light but maybe after a few micro grows

just to touch on the re potting it would be better to use bigger pots but for the size of them plants im not sure if its a good idea until more roots grow. some of the pros growers on here will have to answer that

Appreciate the advice though I am gonna try flipping that bloom switch too and see if any type of growth spurt happens

Just to try to get more light to the bottom.. I’m experimenting still new, I trimmed them few days ago ..
Oh ok. I don’t think you should trim them it’s unnecessary stress that will slow growth. I understand the experimenting part though.

there is allot more to consider then just the light but full spectrum is better then just the blue (not that the ViparSpectra are full spectrum even with both switches on but is better then just blue) plants look good no tip burn or red stems
what medium are you using
are you using hydroponic nutrients or organic

I’m looking at your highs and lows for the day on humidity and the are super low too. Ppl say keep it between 60-70% but mine has been between 50-65% and they have been growing fine. We even have same thermometer lol. We both might be cheap!733A0A64-0563-4D32-ADD6-01EE10197F2C.jpeg

So far it’s been working for me , even though it’s cheap. It just recently dropped the past couple days I think it’s the outdoor weather, I have a few open windows to keep the house cool but outside it’s usually around 16-20% humidity... it was somewhere in between 35-51% pending on light and if I had the fan going in there.. also been in the 90s outside so my temp rose when I flipped my bloom light like someone above mentioned to and that spiked temp up to 93 but still a low 20 humidity. Not sure where I’m to go from here

I had a nice size bowl of water in mine and when I let my jugs of water sit for 24 hours I just leave it in my grow room to add to the water vapor. I mean it doesn’t compare to a humidifier but it’s been keeping me within my RH range. I started off around that 20-30% range started leaving bowls of water out and making sure my soil was hydrated and the humidity shot up. I’m still a rookie but that has been working for me. If I couldn’t get a handle on the levels I would grab a little baby humidifier

i wouldn't stress too much over humidity unless its getting too high or heaps low but that's depended on your climate where you live
if you have decent air movement through the room should be fine
if you see humidity going over 70% all the time then you will need to control it. a 4 inch extract fan removing air from your grow space on 24/7 should be enough to to prevent high humidity unless the out side air is already humid as fuk then a dehumidifier will be needed. in my eyes its not worth adding too many electrical items in a micro grow room but i do pay 38c per 1000 kilowatts per hour so keeping cost own is important me. if you are pulling pounds of bud each grow then its totally worth using a AC unit and dehumidifier
all i use is one 6 ich extract fan with carbon filter on when lights are on then when lights turn off it swaps to the 4 inch extract fan until lights turn back on
i did forget to mention putting both switches on will make your temps jump by 10 ish c ViparSpectra do run hotter then expected hints why you need an extract fan on 24/7
if you use that light for more then 6 months i suggest taking it apart and cleaning the fans and giving it a good dust inside

You think one 6inch exhaust fan 450 cfm with carbon filter would be enough to control smell for 10 plants 12x5x5?

no id say need a 8 inchs or bigger i wouldn't imagine a 6 inch having enough air movement for a room that size but depends i had a 6 inch extract fan that would that would destroy my text as in bend the supporting poles if i have the main door zipped up only 6x3x3 tent i forget what it would do in cfm but i was more then 450 the thing would draw too many amps though and would literally make my timers melt
watch out for cheap speed controllers that limit the fan speed as they put too much resistance in your electrical wiring and will lead to possible fires
i found it best to find a fan that can run full rpm with out needed to be limited
someone a lot more intelligent will need to help you with fan size

Preciate it, the fan is moving air fine now I just don’t have the filter on it yet.
