Week one and my leaves are turning yellow?

I've got my plants in a 5 gallon pot with miracle grow soil a 90w led light but both plans leaves are turning yellow and it's only week one, I'm sure this isn't normal. Can anyone help me?? I'm growing greenhouse cheese

me 2 plz i have mine in 5 gallon dwc under 1000w hps 5 6 ft away i notice bottom leaves are yellow and rest of plant is very light in color i have no nutes in water yet and they are about 4 incehs tall and roots are also about 4 inches long ty in advance

Hey buddy. Are they turning yellow from bottom to top or top to bottom? Do you know your ph and temps? Have you gave nutes yet? any Pics?

Hey man any pics, what your saying sounds like a nitrogen difficiency comming on but we at RIU couldnt be sure unless you post up some pics. But if your running dwc with no nutes I wouldn't be suprised if they are starving!

Both of the plants look the exact same mate which isnt great but they still have a little bit of green in each so im sure there is still some hope. The pH level is between 6.5-7 and I only give them a little bit of water every day because the LED lights only keep the tent at around 25 degrees C. Im thinking maybe the light wasnt low enough because it was maybe 10" away from the plants at the weekend and now ive dropped it down to 6", what do you think?

Skinitti666 I have just tested the soil there and its bang on 7. I dont think ive been watering them too much either mate but at the same time I could be wrong mate.

that too but your ph level should be between 5.3-6.3 no higher than 6.4 and that light need to be as close to that plant as possible with out it getting the plant too hot or burning it

Ok, thats me made sure the temperature in the tent is ok, the pH level should drop as ive just watered the plants and added miracle grow to the water to make sure the pH level was 6 so now ill have to wait and see what the results are. Fingers crossed that he plans are fine :)

bro go out and get you some ph up and ph down youre going to need it.get you some mg organic blood and bone meal youre gonna need the P and the N get some cal/mag mos def gonna need that for flowering

Your growing in MG soil and adding MG nutes to a sprout. You better do ALOT more research. You too skin666.........

oh i dont use nothing but water and root roids and the mg bone and blood meal plus soil was been good to me but the plant food nawwwwwwwwwww buddy burn ya upppppppp

Jesus, dont add nutes for a couple of weeks. Those seedlings are nute burned to fuck. Dont water until soil is dry and hope you aint frazzled them. Best wishes

Lol it's a small world mate. I'm really hoping that they do manage to survive as I don't really want my first grow to die but it would be my own fault for not doing it properly. What's coco? I'll be on that thread more often and hope people will be willing to help and I'll help where I can :)
