Weighing and pricing

I'm fairly new and have a few easy questions that need answering.

One is what kind of scale should I get to weigh my bud and approx how much should I be spending on this?

Secondly in your area how much do you pay for your bud? Per Oz, Gram, lb whichever

well if you want a digital scale, its gonna cost around $100 or more. but you if you want a cheap one, go with the finger scale, like $3. i pay around $65 a ounce, reg shit.

hey go on ebay type in digital scales and get one for $20 tp500 scale. you dont need to buy an exspensive one they all work the same.


well look at my name youll find where i live and its 450 an ounce for the purps

Do they sell any good scales in a place like say walmart? Well atleast I know what I CAN get for $20 and damn those scales on ebay are nice!

yeah they are. and if you want it to be to the .0001 then buy the calibration weight for your scale it makes it perfect

well as far as prices in DETROIT MICHIGAN it is for REGS $25 1/8 $50 1/2 $90 oz for DRO it is $20 per gram $50 1/8 $300oz but i hope to soon grow some shit alot better than whats going around and make some $$$$$$$$$$$

Damn thats expensive. I couldnt tell you how much the dirty shit is around here because I dont buy that shit. The dro I have been getting for the past 3 years is only 10/g. Even if you buy an ounce its just 280. And this has been some of the best/most consistent smoke I have found here in NY. I need to find a way to load up some pics up here.

I have not bought anything in years as I grow my own bud.

However, I do know what it sells for around here and you can get good bud for $250 and ounce.

Shitty stuff is like 25$ an eighth, if you know people you can get regs for 20$ an eighth. The good stuff (I'm not sure if it qualifies as dank . . . one bud gets me high for two hours so would that make it dank? Well, it's really good anyway) is 10$/gram.

If your gonna sell it, your scale needs to be right on the money. Why? ... because your customers will weigh it themselves ... and if your measurment is light, the best case is they won't buy from you again. The worst case? ... just imagine.

I don't know the prices for the shitty Mexican stuff, cuz I grow my own and never partake of crappy weed. But I DO know the price of great, snob appeal bud. This is the type of bud the rich and famous smoke:


1/8th = $60.

1/4 = $100 -$120

1/2 = $200 - $240

Ounce = $400 - $500.

Pound = $4000 - $5000

vi's right. calibration is a must for the purchaser and the seller. You don't want to piss off your connection if you have bad scales...and vice versa.
