weird germination?

Ok so idk if I'm doing something wrong or being impatient but my seeds been in water for about three days now the seeds pretty far open and green inside but still no tap root to be seen is that normal?

only time will tell. a few more days and you see nothing, maybe start over.

I dont leave my seeds in water that long. I soak them for 12-24hrs and poke them and if they sink then I use the paper towel method.

Yeah maby I'll try putting it in a paper towel and baggy

Yep and in a dark warm place. Make sure the paper towel is wet but not soggy. I would give it a few days with the paper towel method and hopefully you get tap roots. Wish ya luck.

Thanks and yeah I noticed something starting to come out of it but it seems to have stopped it's still green inside and everything so hoping for the best
