Weird Leaves growing

So these ladies are about a foot tall at 4 weeks old... They where first grown in a solo cup and been in there for 4 weeks. They where just recently transplanted into new pots because they outgrew Solo cups. The root system took over the cups. I didn't want stressed plants from being in to small of a home. I currently feeding 3tsp of fox farm grow big every other watering also grow medium is the fox farm soil. I didn't mix the fox farm this year with the pro soil I wanted to see how these ladies grew in this stuff. Right now I'm a nervous wreck. I don't know weather or not I over water underwatered but these leaves are bugging me. Also I pH my water after adding the grow big. pH is set at 6 Everytime i water.

theyres a few problems there revolving around micro nutrient imbalance/ph issues

that's sounds like to much fertilizer
what are the 3 npk numbers on the bottle

Im guessing but I would think 3 to 5mls per gallon would be more appropriate if it required nutes from being root bound....but I need the npk numbers to confirm that for sure

3tsp that's 15mls which sounds like a lot

your ph is low and should be between 6.5 and 7.0

ph 6.0 is too low for soil and that might be why your showing micro nute issues

if you had it to do over gain I would have transplanted them into larger pots and fix your ph maybe that's it

don't give them anymore fertilizer, only plain water

next time you water water them thoroughly with ph 7.5 water to get your ph up and then ph 7.0 thereafter

fox farm ocean forest soil might only need some (very little) 1/4 tsp Epsom salt every week or two and or 4mls calcium from calmag 1x per week with little to noadditional fertilizer for a good bit after transplant
if you recently transplanted it you shouldn't need much else for 4 to 6 weeks provided your pot size is adequate

6-4-4 are the npk on the growbig. Even the feeding schedule on the site calls for it. I been taking it light on nutes. Every other watering since I noticed this I thought it was an OD on the nutes. I also use recharge (mircoorganizim) from what I gathered from my buddy is that if use this stuff pH not an issue how true is this? They are now in 3 gallon pots and final homes will be a 10 gallon. I do this to help prevent overwatering it helps me out.

ya man that's too much

an appropriate amount would be 8mls per gallon so roughly half

I know the instructions say to use more but they often recommend too much for what weed requires

if you where growing tomatoes maybe youd use what they suggest but not for weed

if you want you could do a soil ph test to confirm your soil ph is above 6.5 despite your source water/solution ph being low

but just looking at the pics it looks to be a micro nute issue which could suggest a ph imbalance
or
it is also possible the ph is ok and the issue is just over feeding but id check your soil ph to be sure
the soil ph kit is cheap

Would the non-digital soil ph tester work for this application?

I thought when you water you gather the water that drains from the bottom of the container and do a pH test and that would give your reading of soil ph.

I can probably guarantee that it's well below 6.5 pH. My last grow I used this same method and had none of these issues. Although they are completely different strains.

I've read on a few sites that a good pH for any cannabis is around 6 to 6.15 pH. I will try what was suggested and water with a higher pH next watering.

if your in coco 6 to 6.5 is good

if your in hydro,aero 5.5 to 6.2

if your in soil 6.5 to 7.2

I honestly would not be feeding plants freshly transplanted into fox farm soil that soil is loaded with nutrients and your probably over doing it, i have a plant that is over 120 days old and have only top dressed it 2 times in its life and have given it nothing but water.

The plants where in pro-soil no nutes in this soil... This is what I use for the first 3-4 weeks until they can take the foxfarm soil. Since transplant I have only been watering with plain water and every other watering I been adding recharge.

Ive been starting my clones in plugs and then in 50/50 ocean forest /happy frog in a red solo cup
then transplanting 100% ocean forest

had no problems

I don't think the soil was too hot.. that plants plenty big enough for the ocean forest

I bet if you do nothing itll correct itself

likely got def or lcokout or ph issue while in the pro mix but the transplant into fox farm should sort you out

Well finally have had some nice sunny days here so my pots where able to dry out. I think I had a mixture not transplanting soon enough and I had over watered it. I let them dry out used less water at the right pH and seem to be making a turn around. Thanks for all the advice it is much appreciated.

you shouldn't need much fertilizer(if any) for the next few weeks

repotting will sort you out ... I think you might have over done it on fertilizer when you fed them

so in a few weeks when its ready for fertilizer again try and use much less

What type of plugs do you use? I am trying the rapid rooters for the first time they seem to be doing quite well.
