well they aren't poisonous but it's like, I'd say 1/4 the pain of a bee sting per bite. He's just sitting there licking his paws. He got out pretty quick, I was just wondering if someone knew anything I could put on to keep the pain down. I stuck my foot in and got bit about a dozen times so I could try shit out on me before putting it on him but nothing I can think of is really working that well. I know how to make a tobacco and salt paste that'll do it (btw if you ever get stung in public spit on a small piece of tobacco and put it on the spot and it'll draw out a lot of the stingy juice, same with salt but not as effective) I just want to find something that works with fur, and he's my first dog and I've only had him 6 mo. so I'm a puppy newbie.
I'm trying some antihistamie cream. He seems fine, I think he got out fast enough that he's ok, I think I may have more bites than him. And these are the lil black fire ants, not the crazy red amazonian ones, thank god
