weird white stuff on net basket

thx for all the advice guys. ya'll really are awesome. i would totally smoke all yall out for ur help.. any of ya'll travelin thru the south during the holiday??

i should clarify, most people think AR is arizona, but its Arkansas. its like a 4 hour drive to memphis from where im at.

Unless the net pot is no where near water or water mist, then it isn't a buildup of mineral salts but a mold. Personally, I think its mold since it looks so fuzzy but then again that could be crystals forming. Is there an odor? Is this buildup occurring anywhere else?

I'd say check the res temps and add some H2O2 after a reservoir change... and rinse off those net pots.

well while were on that note, u should probbably invest in some liquid nutes.. maybe advanced nutrients or gh nutes have a great day!

hmm, liquid nutes, not a bad idea...

and no, there wasnt really an odor other than just the smell of dampness. and h202? is that hydrogen peroxide?? what the fizzle does hydrogen peroxide do in this case?

Looks like dissolved salts to me. Don't add H202 till later in flowering. I'd just keep a eye on it. But you should have this on other pots come to think of it. Do you have this on other pots in your system? If so it is the slats. If not it May be mold in which case if you arn't to far along maybe a good idea to clean and start over. Just my 0.02.
