I also let the water sit. Just in caseIf your not sure on the chlorine let it set out 24 hrs. It will evaporate

Over watering is from watering too frequently, not watering with a lot of water at one time. If you use synthetic nutes, you should always water to runoff. Drench the pot, let it dry until the pot is light, rinse and repeat.Yes, I get 15-20% runoff. but only recently because I didn't want to over water them while they were in veg
Yes , there were not very many branches. I've never had that happen, where the bottom branches never developed. All under the same lightJudging by the lack of branches, the plant looks like it's not getting enough light or maybe too much nitrogen. It also looks a little heat stressed. That's a weird situation.

Every time I water my plant with a lot of water at once, it almost immediately droops when its root system is still not developed completely. Especially when it's a seedling or early veg. I understand i should defiantly water until run off (20%) or even flushing when the roots are established.
Even a full sized plant will droop when you drench it. Same thing happens when it rains outside for hours. If it's an auto started in its finishing container, then I can understand only giving it as much water as it needs, but at that point there is no reason to give synthetic nutes because the soil has enough for a while so run off isn't needed anyway.Every time I water my plant with a lot of water at once, it almost immediately droops when its root system is still not developed completely. I do have a ppm/ph meter. But I don't use it very much anymore because I got frustrated with it. I didn't measure the ppm of the water going in this time but i will. The ppm of the water going out was over 1200 if that tells you anything.Even a full sized plant will droop when you drench it. Same thing happens when it rains outside for hours. What is the EC/PPM of the feed when you water the plant and what is the run off EC? Do you have an EC or PPM meter?
I can tell you what nutrients I added to the water last time I watered, if that helps?I do have a ppm/ph meter. But I don't use it very much anymore because I got frustrated with it. Need to know the ppm going in to compare the ppm going out. Not sure how a ppm meter can be frustrating. Just stick it in and swirl it around for a couple of seconds and it gives you a number. You likely have a lockout and need to flush.I do have a ppm/ph meter. But I don't use it very much anymore because I got frustrated with it. Thanks, I will definitely keep that in mindOcean Forest is always overthought in its use. It is heavily nute dense right from bag and can carry most of that auto’s life all by itself. Depending on strain - it can carry feed chores for weeks.
However …. When using the “ trio “ you amplify the overfeed issue. FF Trio is highly concentrated and can easily been overdone. Most autos are plug and play and do not need complicated feeds. FF TRIO - should be considered a 2 part feed with an Organic Myco feed ( Big Bloom ). Gro big for veg , Tiger for Bloom , “ Big Bloom “ ( lousy name that doesn’t reflect its REAL use ) - it is mild micronutes and beneficials. It cannot grow a plant alone.
With autos in FFOF - you can even just feed with interval top dressing of more FFOF watered right in.
Not only does that recharge the medium , it also replenishs what has been used by plant. You can even cheesecloth a bag of this soil and make a charged tea or soil drench.
As far as water - use Tap. It already gas oyster shell for buffering and will control ph. No gass off required or “ special “ water. You water your lawn with it , cannabis gives zero shits also. Calcium and magnesium are in city water already. Chlorine is actually a known element for plant growth BTW. But , if local water is really janky then RO source is okay.
When i use FFOF in my layered mixes , i just double check local ph out of TAP with meter , just to see whats up. Worse case i may add a few drops of ph down to “ range “ it closer ( 6.5-6.7 ) allowing for possible drift. But mostly just add it straight.
Plant didn’t implode.
Disregard Fox Farm feed schedule, it is hella high in nute use plus they try to trick you into buying multibottles just to grow one plant.

Does your cat snack on those leaves too? Thanks, I will definitely keep that in mind
So you are saying That i need a more powerful light? I have a 2x2x4 tent, what light do you think I need?It could be temp.- I use 85 degrees as a threshold for the top of the plant for vegging. Because of the stretching and length of the main stem and the pale leaves at the base, I think they are wanting for more light intensity..... and the relatively low light at the base is playing a role in those pale basal leaves.
Soil moisture? may also be involved. too dry at times?

I just ordered rapid test soil test kit. So ill test the soil today. But i have a strong feeling its nitrogen toxicity. I flushed the plant a couple days ago I'm pretty sure the damage is done. It looks even worse now. The leaves are shiny, curled and dark green. I don't even know if it's worth the space it is taking up in my tent.Thats good enough for soil moisture then- its nice to have a cycle of one watering a day. I dont think its getting too dry. If you dont like testing the runoff you could do a simple soil test. Most hardware and nursery stores have them............... I would do a test for N, P, and K.......... just for peace of mind.
would it be a bad idea to flush it again? Or would that be considered overwatering?I just ordered rapid test soil test kit. So ill test the soil today.
