Wejuana Comeback! < LED vs LED > **Blackstar Chrome 720 VS Penetrator 336X**

Wejuana, I am trying to sort out a feeding program. Why do you use both grow and bloom at the same time? In first week of flower, your NPK is 8-18-6 using your 2 to 3 ratio. Just curious.

I have been sort of skipping veg lately and I need to make an updated feed chart.

Recently I have been rooting using nothing but Voodoo Juice, Rootbastic, Hygrozyme and Pro-Tekt. I like to spike the plants with N and PK going into flower since I focus on rooting and not vegging for the 4 weeks most people use to veg.

I don't grow anything officially ;-)..............girls look great, so is this your fav led panel so far? or how would you rate it compared to the numerous panels you've used??

I want to see what the plants yield before I make that determination, but yield aside it has to be my favorite (and seemingly most well designed) LED I have used so far.

I always wondered if someone would test one of these bleached or "hash" tips to see in fact if their is any diff in thc % vers the rest of the plant. I'm leaning towards degradation IMO, but what the fuck do I know:P

Nice job wejuana...............I think you should contact radiant and try to be a beta tester for their cannabis specific panels(If your a legal grower)

Ill give a smoke report on the bleached stuff; it looks super fire! I have been talking to BlackDog LED so I believe they may be coming up soon, but I will see what I can't get acomplished with the radiant LED people as well! Thanks for the suggestion.

Absolutely.
 
Don't like the blackdog led panels.........still don't believe their using "TRUE" 5w leds. And their epistar(?)(crap) leds while CLW are led engin 5w(driven to 4.2w) better emitters, BUT it runs hot so be prepared for that. Anyways the par #'s don't lie VVVV

If you wanna test a the only ALL true 5w panel this is the one to go with IMO

http://www.californialightworks.com/Products_SolarStorm.htm I think their still doing the growers feedback program on the SS 400w version(365W actual?) and it easily beats the black dogs in par readings. You get it half off if you journal it, just email george (owner) for more info.

The light is actually not loud at all! It is comparably quiet to the GrowBlu LEDs. I will be maintaining the scientific method and keeping all conditions the same (plant strain, numbers, pot size etc).

The next round should begin within the next week or so! I feel like my excitement for LEDs has been renewed now that I get to try 5w technology! I'm stoked!!

I want to thank anyone/everyone who has been following my testing journals! It seems like just yesterday I started the ultimate led tests.. but now that I look back on it its more like 2 years ago haha. Time flies when your having fun!

Thanks man! Haven't updated in weeks lol. I don't know why I started one to be honest, I find my time is better spent on here partaking in the conversation and using it to learn about new equipment and techniques. I'll be lurking whenever there is an update.
