Great job. Can you tell me what you are using for a camera and how you're getting the nice black and white backgrounds? I am in the special needs catagory when it comes to photography. My friends make fun of me. Would like to improve and learn a few tricks.
@delacruz here is a cut and paste from my thread on another site. If you need anymore info keep and eye on my posts over the coming weeks as im going to take reference photos of the setup and explain it in as simple a way as possible.
Work in photoshop and raw files only.
To be 100% honest the only post I do is sample my reference white balance card and apply to the raws, then in photoshop reduce the images down to 1920 X 1080 72 dpi, sharpening set to 30%. Then copy and paste the photo into my photo template, change the description and date etc and export as jpg and reduce the quality to about 65% to keep files just under 1meg. I use off camera flash for light. 90% of the photos use one flash. If I do colour in the background or white backgrounds then I use up to 3 flashes. I like getting the image right in camera as I totally hate editing.
Any images taken in the cab are using the actual grow lights so nothing fancy there either.
I will be posting some info on the strains im growing for a competition. The other strain is Dinafem - Ocean Grown Cookies.
The image below is 1 of 5 seeds. 24 hours after putting them in some moist tissue paper and placed in a plastic bag and into a dark warm spot. They have all germinated. So a great start.
More to follow
HSO - Sapphire Scout - Update 28/10/2019
Well things are slow with these vertical scrogs, they have had another spidermite spray down as there was still the odd one kicking about, better safe than sorry. I had the plant out this evening for a good check over and doing a little bit of weaving any new growth in and out of the scrog holes. The image with the red marks is just to show where im nipping of little leaves and nodes that will never amount to anything.
She is being fed GHE and some cal-mag EC1.4 (Background EC0.4) Temps 26-28c 24/7 RH is a little to low at 55%. The RH will rise once the leaves getting going so not to worried.

Dinafem - Gorilla CBD - has been in flower for 6 days. Normally I would have an explosion of growth when I flip, well this time I screwed up and only just noticed that the lights on the bottom shelf where only running at 70 watts. That is now sorted and running at 250 watts.
The other Gorilla will be joining the party in a weeks time.
Plant A has been in flower for 6 days. Normally I would have an explosion of growth when I flip, well this time I screwed up and only just noticed that the lights on the bottom shelf where only running at 70 watts. That is now sorted and running at 250 watts. I will put the deep red led bars back in the cab next week do boost the red levels for flowering. The bottom shelf is running the leds vertical on the back wall of the cab, I will get a photo or two up in the next few days.
Well im down to four out of five Dinafem - Quick Gorilla. There was a runt which had bother detaching its seed casing and just wasn't doing well at all so in the compost it went. Not to worry four is enough to get on with.
So below is the photo update along with a description of relevant information. I will get more photos taken over the weekend of these four Dinafem - Quick Gorilla plants.
As seen in the photo above the seedlings have a right old stretch on them and really should have been out of those little pots a few days ago at least. Above left is the perlite/coco mix along with six table spoons of Intense Nutrients Granules.
Above is how the roots are looking before potting up, nice white hairy roots. So needless to say the Intense Foundation Roots Stimulant and the OG are doing the perfect job. Big thumbs up. Now potted up into two litre tall plastic pots.
Image above showing all the Intense Nutrient line that's being used at this stage of the growing stage. So from roots to shoots everything is going great.
Another check in with the trichomes and yep still crystal clear, buds are still putting on weight. I reckon there is another 14-20 days to go, unless this strain ripens quickly. There is a nice mild smell of orange zest.
Canna - Aqua Flores @ PH 6.2 - EC1.5 / Backround EC0.4. Temps 28c Lights on and 22-24c lights off. RH 55%.
Until next time take it easy.
