Hey, all.
Just thought Id start a short thread ab what I'M FORCED to do with my new grow. I'm a fairly seasoned grower(8years growing) thats done indoor and outdoor with a multitude of genetics. I'm starting this, if for no other reason, just to see if maybe someone has had experience with what I'm about to do, and could possibly tell me if I'm wasting my time with this one. In all my years of growing, Ive never flowered a plant with less than 5-6 weeks veg
I recently started about 20 feminized seeds. Genetics vary, but half the garden is Humboldts Black DOG and Sapphire OG. I'll be flowering out in Organic soil, under 600 HPSs. I've decided I'll do a simple topping right before flowering to hopefully help the lowers catch up a little, but I wont have time for any advanced topping for better yield, unfortunately(which takes most of the fun out of indoor growing lol)
This was supposed to be a full 6-7 week veg, then I was gna keep my healthiest 16 and flower them out under four 600s... until I was told by my... wonderful, beautiful, not a pain in the ass at all, ol lady that we'll be moving on July 1st. I now have 17 seedlings that were just started almost two weeks ago. Ive done the math, and if I veg till the end of the month, I'll have between 3-4 weeks veg FROM SEED. I can start flowering them then, and get in about 8 and a half weeks 12/12 before I have to chop. Both the Humboldt strains are advertised as 8 weekers. Anyone ever actually grow Black DOG or Sapphire OG indoors in soil?I can grow all the way to close to moving day and dry at the new place or at my brothers house.(We usually dry our outdoor there, because he has more room) If the chronic doesnt reach full potency, I can always sell the inferior smoke thats still ok and blow the really immature stuff into dab.
I have two simple questions...
Has anyone ever seen Black DOG or Sapphire OG finish in soil in 8-9 weeks?
Is there any chance of AN EXPERIENCED grower yielding at least 2 zips per plant with this rediculous, unhealthy, not smart, shortened veg time?
Thanks in advance to any and all help
