Went from stuneted to rocketing? + questions

My friend gave me a bunch of shitty seeds, most of which didnt germinate and the ones that survived died exept for one (hey, at least they were free cant complain). well i put that one outside in the sun and it stayed with only 1 set of leaves and tiny second set, for about 3 weeks, untill just a few days ago. it started growing, and fast! now the first leaves are sitting big at the bottom, the first nodes have nicely come in, the second ones are growing and the third ones are just about to pop out (i believe that the right time to top it would be in a couple days.) Why would this happen?

also. i have fed it a couple times now with miracle grow, the plant is hidden in deep grass with a 4 L jug of water with miracle grow in it.... however.... the water has turned from blue to greenish and im wondering if its still OK to use?

also! should i try topping it? im not taking the grow all that seriously as its just to get the feel for it so i can order seeds and have a good grow next year.

ALSO! would it be possible to tell sex at this age? because right by the first nodes i see tiny things that look like they could be hairs... just wondering.

What kind of Miracle Grow Plant Food are you using?

All purpous 24-8-16 i think.

If your jug of water has been in the sun the green color could be from algae growing. I'd use fresh water. Don't wanna ruin a good thing!

ok well i just watered it a couple hours ago with that water, so i guess ill throw the rest away. will i hurt the plant?

alllso, anyone wanna answer any of the other questions?

just tried to post a picture but everything went wrong and i got frustrated and gave up lol. bad picture anyway.

the plant is about 4 inches tall, the space between first and second node... 1 inch maby an inch and a half? two tops
i was under the impression that the seed was strong indica... thoughi though an indica would be shorter and have much closer together nodes? unless its "stretching" but its been under beautiful sunlight lately... just a though.

also could someone answer the gender question?

The more foliage a plant has the faster it'll grow.

Is it actually booming with foliage or just inter-nodal stretching? The two are not the same... Stretching is not desirable.

Hairs are usually white(dominant) or pink(recessive). If they're green that's just part of the plant, both genders have them.

well i woudlnt say its "booming" but it went from still growing in its second pair of leaves to having 5 or 6 sets!

i dont think its stretching, just growing taller lol.
