Hello All, I'm super-excited to be here, I hope to learn and share with the online growing community. I've got a few successful indoor grows under my belt. I'm hoping to learn some outdoor tips and tricks for when the Oregon OLCC starts rubber-stamping those licences. My dream is to look off my front porch and see acres of ripe cannabis. I am a big dreamer, do it big, live big, work hard, play hard!

Depends where he's at. Bend, OR has a dry high desert climate with approx. 300 sunny days a year. Great area for greenhouse production.

40 degrees, first I would determine if you are dealing with fungus gnats or root aphids. The winged adults look identical even to a professional grower with experience.

The way most of us tell is by trying to catch one of the flies. If it is a gnat, they will float very slowly and will be relatively easy to catch.

The root aphids are fast, and run along surfaces quickly. They also fly quickier as well, not so easy to catch. Look into a thread that specifically deals with gnat vs aphid identification.

To get rid of gnats in coco purchasing an organic treatment such as GoGnats, which are cedar oils will work.

To get rid of root aphids... is not easy. Beneficial Nematodes are the way to eliminate organically, but makesure you apply them correctly. I am not a proponent for systemic pesticides but Imidacloprid or (IMID) is truely effective. Products such as Merit75 and Bayer Tree and Shrub will contain IMID.

If you choose the inorganic method please do not do so in flower.

EZ-wet kills all soft body pest, Gnats ,aphids etc.. and it also has yucca extract to provide carbs doesn't hurt any beneficial fungi either all organic. Im using it as weekly hand water with a microbe innoculant as preventive maintenance for aphids or anything I also do a weekly foiler with it dont give those pest a chance to develop a home
