what am i doing wrong here? feedback please!

looking for some help... i am growing 6 white widow clones and 2 OG diesel clones
using 2 x T12 40W phillips plant and aquarium lights and 2 x 68W CFLs in a 2'X8' closet. miracle gro potting soil in 2 gallon pots. approximately 10-20 oz of water every other day on an 18/6 light cycle. plants are about 10-12 inches tall and 2 white widows and 1 og diesel is already flowering. 2 of my white widow plants are turning yellow also. why are they flowering on 18/6, turning yellow, and so short? i dont expect a huge yield from CFL but i would imagine they should be at least twice their size...

The only problem i can help you with is add lights. a lot of lights. I'm growing in a 4x4 closet with 3 105w and an 85w cfl and i still don't have enough light for my 2 plants. Pics would help. how long have they been growing

the 2 bigger WW plants are about a month old.. the other 4 in the pic are about 2 weeks old

first thing is those lights r way too far away. the t12 lights u can put right on top of the plants because they dont get hot. the fact they look as though their flowering probably has to do with them being clones of an older plant and starting to act as if they are the same age of the donor plant. in regards to soil i would definitely try something else next time. if that is mg organic your in you may need to feed the two white widows that r more yellow than the others but i cant say for sure about the soil because i dont think mg makes a good balanced soil and ive had problems with their soil as well so i dont want to tell you something that might add to the problem. if you would like to try a good soil mix let me know ill post the recipe.
