what am I

So the other day my friend called me a pothead but am I really a pothead? why not a stoner or am I a weekend toker. Can someone explain the smoking "hierarchy"

this is the way id class it.. pretty much the same as cigerette smokers

Ocasional smoker - smokes on ocasions weekend etc
Regular smoker - Smokes once to twice a day
Heavy smoker - smokes an 8th or more a day
Chain-Constant smoker - exhales?/??

i always say im a proud pothead! but according to the definitions in the urban dictionary, im a stoner. they write that the difference is in the smokers mindset. a pothead is just a fan of weed who just smokes all day, and if not, they still appear high. while a stoner knows when its appropriate to smoke and is an advacate for marijuana, not just a fan. also, stoners are considered more peaceful while potheads enjoy doing "dumb" things that possibly cause injury to themselves or others around them. a pothead has all the negative associations with it such as bad memory and irresponsible. a stoner is still able to function as a "regular" member of society. lastly, a pothead would never admit to being a pothead and there is no "proud pothead" only "proud stoners".

i dont even believe in labeling someone when it comes to weed anymore. in this day and age it seems like everyone and anyone i meet and see smokes weed. people i wouldnt even think of do and they all have different personalities. last week i met this 80 year old guy and i found out he smoked weed, i was like that shits fuckin crazy your 80.

but once in a while you come across the stereotypical pothead/stoner/whatever.

I smoke alotta weed, it keeps me happy.
