My first grow is done, and u chopped it on Saturday. But I must say that I am not impressed with the outcome.

My buds dont look like buds!

I did not flower with alot of lights, and I know it can affect the bud size, but by this much?

Next grow is gonna be outside, so it will hopefully look better.

Attached are some pics. I am also wondering, should one trim all the sugar leaves off, because with them on, it almost looks like a bud, but, if I have to take them off ... as you can see from the pics, there is no "buds" just a bunch of single calyxes.

If you are growing indoors, you should never skimp on lighting. You need at least 50-60 watts per square foot if you want decent looking, dense buds. Those look like they were grown under cfls. Try a cheap 600w next time, you'll see a huge difference.

Yep CFL's, and only 6 of them. 15w each.

What now from here. Do I just cut of each single calax, amd have a bunch of small single buds, or how would the experts suggest?

Yep. Just do what you can. Personally, I wouldn't smoke seeded bud. I would just toss it all in the hash bag.

I keep reading this, from various sites, I would love to know what is wrong with seeded bud? I was under the impression that seedless are just that, and they might be a bit more potent. Can the potency really be so much more that it warrants seeded bud to be tossed? Or is there something else with seeded that I am missing?

thats is pollened female plant who was after week or two give you seeds but now you got just leaves and not living seeds into male flower

Poor genetics/grow conditions, go through journals and take note of strains others grow and have success with, pick ones that appeal to your liking, order the seeds from the same breeder, invest some green into your lighting system, and do wayyyy more research, OTHERWISE YOULL KEEP GROWING TURDS

Turds

GL growing outdoors next year, you'll love the what the sun does to them. Invest in pesticides in the meantime;)

Gonna start growing outside very soon. Spring is just about to start here. Already hot enough to start planting. Day temps of around 28•C and night of about 14. Just waiting for the rain. We normally get about 2 weeks non stop rain in september. After that, summer officially starts, and then the plants are gonna pop too

Ive smoked alot of seeded bud alot worse then that and its algood but it doesn't taste the best and its a pain pulling out all the seeds, it also isnt as potent as non seeded bud

TFF, seeded bud was all there used to be and it cost $10 per bag....lol We didn't grow up brain damaged. Or, at least not too brain damaged :eyesmoke: I can see the point of not smoking seeded bud, if you're harvesting pounds each year. Shit I hardly ever smoke roaches anymore myself :bigjoint: Personally, I'd smoke it :weed: I'm a child of the 60's, so wtf over

Also agree with the post above about outdoor growing, you'll fukin' love it  A whole new set of challenges, but the results are well worth it :weed:

And remember no one wants to end up with turds....they're just too fukin hard to keep lit

Good Luck :peace:

I decided to grow in the winter, and if I get an idea, I cant wait. Winters here are brutal (-9°C) so outdoor was out of the question. So I decided to try indoor whilst it was cold, but now, my real grow is gonna start.
