hermaphrodite is when your female turns into a male. It starts to make pollen sacs. It happens due to stress, either breaking the light cycle, or wrong nutrients, temperate, PH, etc...

it also happens based on the seed/plants genetics. it mainly occurs with feminized seeds, but there are some are more prone than others to hermie, and others don't at all.

a plant of mine hermied on me, seemingly because it was simply a breeding experiment gone wrong on the dealers behalf (i grew up the bagseed)

Where do these pollen sacs form? Are they obvious? Can u pop them or remove them as they form?
They form in the same places the bud forms. If you're diligent, yes, you can remove them - however, they are not always obvious, in fact sometimes it's downright hard to find the bananna in question.

Genetics or conditions can cause it. My sig has pics if interested. My hermie is approx 95%female5%male. So I've so far successfully picked nuts and its still growing.
