What Are Mids?

i dunno if i understand peep's terminology around the country. So when people refer to mids what are they talking about?

middle class weed. ist not that great but at least it gets u high.


There is

bobby brown, shwage, dirt

then better is mid, beasters , ect

then chronic, and stuff with names that is nice and sticky covered in trics.

One of my friends doesnt really smoke and he always hangs with me and my friends, hes a member.. Fuck sorry.. Anyways.. He asked us what mids were the other day and we all laughed our asses off because he seriously DOES NOT KNOW, hes seens pounds and pounds of dank, yet no mids xD Funniest shit.

hehe i started with mids and i thought they were the shit, til my friends brow smoked me up with grand daddy. lets just say there is a high thats too high like smoking a blunt of 20% thc , when you just been smoking bowls of crap, i was so high i forgot my name. i smoke to much now so i can't get that high anymore

I pollinated my Plant. Does that take it from being a class A smoke to a mid/schwag?

Why do poeple attribute the presence of seeds to the quality of the smoke? Or os this a scale based purely on when you're buying from a dealer and not actually how good the weed is when smoked?

a plant uses the energy it would have used to make trics, the resin produced y buds is ment to make moisture for the buds and seeds as they grow and, but mostly to attract pollen, the stickyness grabs pollen from the air, so when a plant gets seeds it stops making most of the trics. and also i have always found the hard covers made by the seeds makes the smoke harsher(< opinion not fact )

I remove the seeds.. They're big round brown things they tend to stand out.

On the flip side by that scale i could take something really really shitty with low percentages and this and that, and so long as i didn't pollinate it, it's A grade? No, it's sensimilia but it's still shit weed.

And i've heard many conflicting opinions about how plants react when pollinated, from your statement to that they are more potent as they create more THC to protect their seeds. It was also my understanding that pollen needs to be applied to the calyx hair, and not the trichome for pollination.

Mids are totally subjective and one simply cannot judge by looks alone as in life some of the beauty lies within.

I was looking at some of the dispensaries there .. $190 to $150 oz. is amazing prices compared what im used to. I can barely afford to smoke what is supposed to be mids , but more than half the time, is shit bricked up mex schwag. All for the low low price of $120 oz.. Haha . And if I want something like a kush persay, itll cost me $350-$380oz or $50-$60 an 1/8 .. Hate it around here. And everyone is stingy and money hungry.

well i think i came off a little wrong there am not saying mids are bad but "from what i have learned" guys who used to grow back in ohio used to grow indies i was partial to his Nl, and you could buy his grade A shit all stinky and sticky , and you could buy mids which he had a grow room for where he only took em half the flower stage (for real he said most people could only afford mids and it kept cash coming in) and when he would pollinate he would wait a while until he had large amounts and give it to people who delt to the regie/shwag buyers, so thats how i got it. but if you like your pollinated bud good for ya bro am not hating, also i din't mean the pollin needs to be on the trics i sayed the plant makes it to grab pollen,
here is an excerpt from the growing bible it don't directly mention trics but anyway thats where my info is from decide your self

The male plant produces pollen sacks which, when ripe, burst
and scatter pollen to the female plants. The female plant produces
white hairs at the internodes and top cola (head) of the plant during
flowering. These hairs (pistils) begin to curl slightly and grow longer
and thicker. The top cola should carry the most pistils. These pistils
are sticky too touch (do not touch them too much! they also contain
your much wanted THC) and begin to cover in resin over the flowering
period. The reason for the stickiness is that it is used by the female to
catch falling pollen. If the female plant is not pollinated she will try to

Sinsemilla just means seedless is what i have alway's heard it doesn't mean good weed.

This thread has me even more confused as to what mids is, maybe i'll never know.....lol

But on the seeded subject i have smoked pot that has caught some pollen that was just as good as sinsemilla.
