What are NEW STRAINS worth trying to grow?

Share your thoughts on NEW STRAINS worth growing!

Rate them on these characteristics:
1) Growing: How easy is the strain to grow?
2) Yield: How much does it tend to produce (include how you grew it)
3) Pics!!!! Share pics from finished product!
4) Flavor: How does it taste?
5) High: Body/Head, make you sleepy or ready to party? Watch a movie or go to a show?

G13 labs pineapple express autoflower. i think it may be better than Barney's Farm's rendition.

my "i wanna grow but dont have the room" list.

dont know if these are relatively new, but they seem good and this is off the top of my head.

Very nice list! I'd love to hear more about them. Chocolope, although not "new", is one I really want to try. I've read it's easy to grow and it was my favorite in terms of high and flavor when I tried it in Amsterdam last year.

Who else has suggestions?

Instead of Chocolope, if I could suggest Chocolate Rain by sannies seeds. Its the Cannabis Cup clone of Chocolope with a Male Cocoa Kush by DJ Short (inventor of blueberry). I got one in veg right now.

But so far I am only growing Purple Diesel. All 15 seeds popped and got 8 females from 15. It is in its 2nd week of flower and I cant wait for harvest.

Any one order from them? $50 for 15 is a pretty good deal. Im mostly interested in shorter season outdoor stuff. What would you recommend? Keep in mind i like purple strains, but am open to any suggestion.

Have you ever thought of growing some pure indica or sativa?
I was getting kind of burnt out on the 1001 name hybrid scene myself, although some of them produce some top quality smoke I've always been suspicious of the true genetics found in many of them.
In 2007 I took a trip back to the Big Island of Hawaii (used to live there) and brought back some seeds from a friend who's family have been growing there since the 1970s. This stuff produces some of the stoniest buds I've grown.
Try a couple of indica or sativa landrace strains, I'm sure you'll be more than happy with them.

Strain - Barney's Farm "Sweet Tooth" - i believe 08' Cup Winner

Difficulty- medium

Nutrients- Light (never went higher than 700ppm)

Flowering time - 70 days

System - Recirculating DWC - 5 x 5gal buckets with 10" mesh pots filled with hydroton.

Presentation- Beatuful Golf Ball size buds, with crystals that are so big you dont need a scope. Its THC content is simply astronomical. hand sized fan leaves were still completely dusted on the bottom 1/3. Trimmings from 5 plants yielded 7 grams of bubble hash.

High- Good all-arounder. I can operate well on one hitters, but if i bust out the graffix or the papers i can disapear in a sublime couchlock. Not much smell, and not a very strong taste. But it was smooth and has a bottom lung punch just to remind you of its potency.

Yield- Average of 2.5 oz per plant. - with fixed lighting i think it would have been much higher.

This one was a pleasure to grow, learned a lot about longer flowering plants.They took well to Canna Aqua Flores. (everything does)

**IMPORTANT - the first 5 weeks of flower they stretched agressively towards the light. My 1000 watt was on a mover, this could contribute to the extra stretch. But they didnt stop verticle growth until week 5 of ten. They burnt themselves repeatedly.

Two new strains for me:

TH Seeds Cold Creek Crush - not harder than a 7 out of 10 to grow, relatively manageable and not picky but the flowering time is on the longer side. A very heavy yielding strong Indica. Tastes fresh and earthy but not too heavy a taste.

Cali Connection Larry OG Kush - GET IT GET IT GET. WHOA. The price is on the high side, but after smoking it you will be on the VERY HIGH side. LOL. It has this lemon diesel taste, decent yield, marked by huge top colas. My new favorite kush right now. As with most kush strains, keep it going until the trichs turn for a really mindblowing high. Yummy delicious.

i do send cash to hempdepot.com always gets my seeds. if theres one seedbank i would trust my cash ill go with hempdepot. i had a bad credit card fraud from attitude, not saying its attitudes fault, there still on my list of ordering seeds.

They look very established and they have an active forum. If I sent $50 in the mail and they rip me off and dont send seeds, would they want to risk me spreading bad news about them on every forum? For $50 destroy all the work that went into their website?
