What are the considerations when growing 2 strains in 1 tent?

I will have a light for each plant and separate DWC buckets.
What are the other considerations when growing 2 strains in 1 tent?

That's how I grow now. Two 5 gal buckets with 2 strains in a 3x3 tent with a 400 hps.Consideration's are the size difference between 2 strains and I solve that by scroging or use risers under buckets to keep canopy's the same height.Keeping tabs on two different res situations is more work but that's part of the fun for me.what strains were ya looking to do?

You get creative and manipulate the environment where the canopy is as even as you can get it. Some strains are shorter than others. It's not a big challenge, you just find things to put the shorter ones up on. Other than height differences, I can't see any other special accommodations you need to provide for. Some are short and chunky and others are tall and lanky...at least that's what I've noticed so far.

Try to check ppm's in soil so you will know how they are feeding differently. Some strains are heavy feeders and some aren't. This causes risk of deficiency's and nute burn. An experienced grower shouldn't have a problem. I like growing multiple strains. I think you learn more about genetics and weather or not you really like the strain and how she grows compared to something else. P.S. I wouldn't worry about the canopy's as much. They seem to stretch the same as long as your providing sufficient light. And you can always put the taller towards the edge and shorter in the middle.

Another difference is flowering time. Some indicas will be done in 8 weeks, some sativas will take 12-14 weeks to finish.
A quality sativa is worth the wait though. Good luck
