what are the higher end light system brands

So imma have a setup with 3 different types of lights

T5 for clones, moms, and veg until preflower is shown

MH for veg until i think they are big enuff

HPS for flower

i havnt decided on wattage yet but im jw wat are the higher end brands of lights im mainly just looking for a system that has a decent hood, low failure rate, easy setup, and maybe a 240v system

I read your other thread, and I think you're prolly going for a nice mini-pro set-up right? (2x1k for flowering approx?) Anyway do this, spend the money on the Digital Ballasts. Also don't buy lights on-line. Go to a grow store ( they have one within an hour of everywhere these days) and get the DIGITAL ballast that guy will warranty. Ask him about a LOANER if you have a problem. Whatever digital ballast your local dealer will back up, thats the one man. I only use the Hortilux bulbs, and thats actually come from experience with other shit. Getting t-o know the local store guy can be a good idea anyway, just remember he is trying to sell you shit, so be somewhat sketical of all the "must haves" he suggests.


The data on the digi ballasts though is conclusive. They are slightly better when bith themselves and the bulbs are new, and over the life of the ballast and the bulbs you use in it, the superiority increases. They don't just last, and make bulbs last longer, shit lasts BETTER.

brands though i have been using-Lumatek 1000, Quantum 1000 (non switchable) Galaxy 600 (not using atm) and Sunsystems magnetic 400 watt for vegging room

ya i made a 5 year plan (but it calculates to more of a 4 1/2 year plan)

first step is to do my patriotic duty and vote yes on The Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010 (and dnt worry with 57% poll approval rating its going to pass (ive never seen a legitament poll be more than 6% off))

then over the coarse of roughly 3 years ill increase my overall grow skillz wile searching for at least 10 amazing strains to have 2 or 3 mothers of but remaining fairly low scale (10 lbs a year maybe) also wile taking business classes and enrolling in oaksterdam university.

then sometime shortly after the 3 year mark ill be 21 and will apply for a growing license (lol) once obtained ill look for investors to help me get a larger grow setup (the small warehouse dream *tear* lol)

then over the next year i clone the fuck out of my mothers and any plants in veg stock up on a bud until finally i have enough to consider apply for a vending license

and viola I declare myself a small business owner and become the local marijuana delivery service


i know theres paper work and shit involved and lawyers and yadda yadda yadda but thats just the basic outline
