What are the power boxes in LED's called?

My LED had a fan problem, the plug to the fans got unplugged during shipping and I didn't realize it before it was too late. I opened it up connected the wire to the fans and it worked perfect. The only problem Im having now is that there are three boxes inside the light that power the LEDs and the plastic around them is melted. Also the light works but it is flickering consistently. A very slight flicker but none the less it wasn't doing it before. Im sure some damage happened when it overheated and Im afraid Its gonna die. I want to replace those power boxes inside the light but I don't know what they are called so I can order them. Its 300watt LED Chinese import (I know you get what you pay for) and it say 3watt times 100 bulbs. Thanks guys.

Might be a power supply or a transformer or some type.

They're called drivers. Look at the label on the driver and find the DC output voltage and the DC output amperage or mA. This will tell you what you need to know about replacing the drivers. You could also ask the company you bought it from to sell you new drivers. Those are the two easy options for fixing it. And stop using it because you probably are screwing up the LEDs.

Boy this is true. You dont have the correct drivers you end up wasting money and I have seen them burn out pretty quickly. Have also seen where people couldn't get there LEDs to light as the drivers were under powered..

Best bet. Pick your goal, find your driver for your goal, and then select LEDs to fit the goal and work with the driver. May sound backwards but its one of the best ways to set up a DIY LED panel.
