I would just skip it on my grow not enough info and kinda shanty looking.
 
That is kelp that has been treated with a carobhydrate, to promote beneficial bacteria growth. I dont know enough about such things to say whether its a gimmic or not. I have been composting for many years and i do know the benifits. This may be dried, half composted material.
 
Im not saying stay away, it may be mana for cannabis. I dont have experience with products like that. I use fresh stuff. Give it a shot and write a review.
