What are these bugs? Root aphids???!!!!!

Hi guys, first post in years but I’m a regular stalker of these forums. attached are pics my partner just sent me—we’re both pretty sure they’re root aphids but have never had them before so can’t say for sure. I feel sick inside. Any and all opinions are welcome, and thank you

Sadly yes, or some familiar insect in the aphid family. That looks really bad too. Have you looked into something like neem oil? There are lots of otc solutions for aphids, though it's not an insect problem that's happened to me (grrrr mites). Not sure which are OK for cannabis use, someone will be along with that info soon. Likely regular aphid and not root aphid. Not of extreme importance though, they will need dealing with regardless.

Thanks for the reply guys—I sprayed them down with a hose then treated them with organicide, I will do a 9-12 day treatment regimen at 3 day intervals. Grow store recommended dipping them in PyGanic (Sp?). Consensus seems to be “normal” or hemp aphids, not root aphids. Appreciate the help,
