What are these creatures?

So, I cut my cannabis plants, hung it up for about 6 days and it was feeling bone dry, so i went ahead and cut the buds and placed them in jars for curing, a few days later I started noticing these little worm/maggot looking creatures on the side of the jars. Any ideas what they are, and is the cannabis still safe for consumption? The buds still look fine.

I am sorry, I don't know the rules about bumping, but can anyone please help? I have found a couple more of these things in my jars, and don't know if I should smoke or toss. Thanks in advanced!

so those were in the buds?
if so give never heard of that before....they kind of look like a grub you would find in your lawn

Look like black solder fly larvae. Seen them in compost but not in flowers. Strange.

Be hard to pin down but if you give a rough location and rundown of flies and pests in yoir area probably get to a shorter list.

Larvae of some kind trying to escape the bud and jar.

You should of hung longer and smoked some before jarring imo

I’m shocked you didn’t notice them any sooner. They leave tell tale signs of destruction on your buds/plants. Gives me the heebie-jeebies thinking about lighting a bowl and seeing those things crawl out.

It was an outdoor grow (not in the jungle LOL), and no, the plants had no signs of damage or anything, they looked healthy all the way through. I haven't found anymore thank god, so I think I am good, and I can't just start over, I am strictly outdoors, not because of choice.
