just trust me....you want the hid lighting now...get rid of the cfl's and light brights...they wont even veg well unless you build the shit yourself with the right spectrum...and then you have to have so many led's it's crazy. and i could grow smaller buds man...I just have the space to grow big plants...but...if I used the 150 on small plants I would have the same thin whispy bud syndrome...buds that squish flay in your fingers instead of staying nuggety and then crumbling if you know what I mean...they arent solid buds without light...the size matter on veg time

Buds will be OK but I'm also trying to get some seeds too I suppose that if a strong plant can do well in a poor soil and without advanced growing techniques the seeds will be of good quality. Honestly, I started growing 2 months ago and my plant is only about 40 tall. So I don't expect it to yield big buds But still, growing itself is interesting

Wow that rocks a plant grown 21 days on 5 watts damn that is awesome. But using the 1watt = 1 gram that would only be 5 grams (maybe 1 gram because of Led's) for 100days waiting and the soil/nutes would cost more then that. Keep growing and learning.

IcanMJ, I were growing 21 days under 5w only because I didnt expect that my ordered LEDs will arrive to me so slow + as a 1st timer i didnt use fan, maybe if i would, they wouldn be so streached now.

im hoping to get shorter plants next time.

anyway, yes, thats pretty awesome, that 7 plants grew so big with single 5w diode.

1 gram per watt is under ideal lighting condition...ie...hps light...no fuckin way you will hit that with cfl's or led's...you may pull .3 grams per watt...but doubtful

The little leaves are growing bigger.Luckily, it's a sunny day So i keep turning them around. Spinning plants A weird thing... One plant is darker and the other one is lighter shade of green. The lighter-shade one smells weed while the other one with little leaves doesn't smell weed... What's that about?
