Is this just having a submersible pump pumping water/nutes into the hydroton and feeding the roots that way and ditching the bubblers?

The pump goes up out of the res to a manifold that branches to every bucket and the waterfall happens Inside the bucket. You're comin in on the side right near the top. Check these posts in my thread.

That thing is way overpriced. The whole thing sits on a very simple method of splitting the water to oxygen and hydrogen. In big system I’d be worried about the hydrogen gas... I was looking around and saw 2 more very interesting thing. First one called Carmin. I don’t really get how it...

That's cool man. Pretty low-key. I think you'll be surprised at the pressure of mine. i can't remember now, but its some where around 5-600 gph

So here's how I run mine. I prefer to call them sprayers over waterfalls with how I have mine though. Holes in the caps creates back pressure and it makes them into little sprayer heads. It agitates the water better than 30LPM of air going into each site. I use airstones in my flower system too, but the veg system is just the sprayers.

That's some serious aeration Fragile. I've been using a diy irrigation system where pump feeds 4 buckets but also one 1/2" line returning back to res for aeration. Seems to work ok. No root rot 4 runs and counting.

Hope you're feeling better...sounding more alert!

Was a lot of trial and error before I settled on that setup. Seems to work great. The roots tend to stay in the agitation zones. The grow around the airstones and towards where the sprayers hit the water. I get very few adventurous roots in my setup.

Thanks, not really doing any better yet but I actually got halfway decent sleep last night so I'm feeling a bit more clear headed I guess.

That question again, is falling water the same as a Waterfall... I gotta say no.. My Waterfarms use the dripring to flow 5-6 gal an hour over the hydroton.. With just an air pump.. I doubt that anyone has ever calculated the surface area of the 9 liters of hydroton in a WF.. It does seem to be enough of an interface to supply the dissolved o2 to grow healthy plants.. Without bubbles.. You'll probably need a chiller for a faster constant flow system of any size.. I only grow for myself and friends, so my grows are on the small side.. WFs still need to keep the water temps from getting too warm... I do have a 1/0hp chiller for my WFs... I'm always trying to get by with less power.. The is my latest attempt..

Here is a dry fit of the reservoir.. Have used 1/2" pvc connectors as nuts.. I'll go back and cut the long ones in half, like the one in the center, which is the drain for the entire system.. All the fittings were bought at Home Depot.. Was just checking the fit and seal.. The short 3" risers...

Mostly, yes.
DWC is individual sites and once you hook those together with feeds and drains you have recirculating dwc.
I guess you could accomplish a waterfall in a single dwc site, but youd have to put a pump on each bucket if you didnt want to hook them all together.

A waterfall is just using some means to dump enough water in your bucket to induce agitation. That's where aeration happens. My simple 4 tote UC system just uses 1/2" plastic tubing connected to a 3/4" supply pvc. A heat gun lets me squash the end of the tubing into a fan spray as it cools. Simple and very effective.

i use a waterfall in my feed reservoir. it keeps it well aerated and the nutes well mixed.

it's just a great and simple way to provide Dissolved O2 to water. like a fountain in a city park. it's not just for looks, it aerates it so the water isn't stagnant.

Most of what you post is pissing on a wall.. Decided to read your posts at random.. You seen to be just another prick the way you relate to other growers.. Nothing tells it like results.. Lets see what you've been pushing for knowledge..

Surely to agitate the water enough to create bubbles you need to have the *waterfall* firing into the rez with some force so im guessing you need a powerful pump for this?
