i run a drain to waste drip system in coco with two 55 gallon reservoirs (one for each side of the room) the plant get watered 3 times a day in flower each getting about 1-2 gallons total per day. they are in 3 gallon smart pots. my res's need to be refilled every 3-4 days. when i flush i may give a bit more water so i see runoff but not 5-7x the normal daily amount. i suggest using a flushing agent as well but it is not necessary. when i refer to flushing all it means to me is give plain ro phd water and maybe with a flushing agent. hope this helps^^
are you saying to water (water only) for 7-10 days straight, or as needed?
every grower has their own tricks and ways to grow, and have valid points. im not knocking anyone's way to do their thing. I asked a simple question on what method of flushing you do, or a good way to go about it. not to get into another heated debate on weather flushing is needed or not needed. that's been discussed in the 1000+ other threads that have been beat to death.
thanks everyone for their input. ill figure it out for myself. the ONLY reason im going to flush is the recipe ive been following from technaflora calls for it. last 7 days of flowering, first 3 days get 40ml/gal of water of sugar daddy followed by 4 days of flushing.
Flushing, without a doubt, makes for a better burning product.
