what are your flushing methods?

if you all are seriously joking about flushing, I'd hate to be the person that relies on your pot for medical treatment. Flushing, without a doubt, makes for a better burning product.
Please explain to me how dumping water through a medium such as soil effects the taste of the buds we smoke??
Why don't my apples and oranges and tomatoes that aren't flushed taste like dog poo?
What makes cannabis so damn special that it's the only plant that needs flushing?

Yes I'm qouting myself because I'm cool like that..
Anyhoos if flushing removed bad flavor from the bud, than surely adding something like kool aid would improve the flavor right??

If you use bottled nutes flush. They all heavy metals and accumulate salts. Even the so called organic ones. If you do pure living organics or super soil do not flush. Infact in the last week water less. Plants uptake half as much in the last week or 2. Flushing screws up the balance with true organics. Last 3 waterings. 2 of water with molasses, last just water. For me that's a 15 -20 day span. I grow in 7 gals. Also wait til soil is dry to chop. Its not good to chop when soil is still wet. The plant is still trying to uptake nutes instead of pulling energy from leaves.

I use a toilet. I pull the lever as I put the seat down or as I stand up. Once in a while I use a plunger too.
LOL, I have to admit that I was thinking of this response.

...and do not use too much paper, or plunging you will be!

I'd hate to rely on your stressed plants. Mine are healthy and happy right up to the time I pick them.

Do you have anything besides stories to back up your stories?

Buds do not store fertilizer.
Start there.

My buds are great. They smell great, taste great and burn to a white ash.

Properly fed hydro plants do not need flushing. Flushing is a last resort to fix grower error.
I didn't flush in hydro and my buds tasted great, smelled great and burned to a white ash.

Flushing for taste/smell etc is a myth not based on anything scientific.

all of you Grow Gurus need to take your half thought out, supposedly witty responses and shove them up your asses! :)

In MY EXPERIENCE, which is 14 years growing weed, I have found that buds that burn black haven't been flushed, and buds that burn to white ash have been flushed, or at least, fed to where there was not an extreme excess of nutrients laying around (hydro, bottled nutes.) As far as using a super soil type medium, I still believe that excessive bone meal makes buds burn black. So, whatever all of you are doing other than flushing to get your buds to burn ash white, I'd love to hear about it (since all yall can do is take shots at my experienced opinion, and not offer any evidence of your own other than "my buds burn white, brah")

Maybe they dont taste like "dog poo" to you because you haven't the taste buds to notice the difference. I can tell the difference in taste of any conventionally grown (aka non organic) root crops like carrots, garlic, onions, potatoes. Do I need to come up with some scientific measurement to prove to you that I can do this? No.

Also, the strain is what makes the plant "taste". Better growing conditions might bring out more polyterpens in the resin glands, resulting in a stronger flavor, but flushing certainly does not ADD flavor like you are insinuating that I am saying.

Do any of you remember Overgrow? The weed growing website where there were always some assbags taking shots at your comments/posts, instead of having discussions about it? This place is just the same, for the most part. One sentence evokes 3 trolls to come out of hiding, and make nonsensical posts about "taste" when I'm talking about how it burns. Reading Comprehension, much?

Buds burning black, i have never seen that sounds nasty

to get it into perspective i do wonder how much plant food by weight/ percentage of the bud weight
would be left in a bud
i would think it would be such a tiny amount somewhere in the region of homeopathy percentages perhaps

if 1 gram of unflushed weed contained 1 micro gram of plant food , would you taste it ?
if so that plant food would be some potent shit taste wise

it could be some kind of placebo thing going on, folk who flush their weed will convince themselves it taste different
just like all those folk that buy into homeopathy

peace

Ya its funny how they all band together, its because they have no skills or knowledge and are jealous of us the REAL growers. They see results that make their heads spin and try to compare their pitiful grows. Your labelled a liar because you can grow better and question their whacky techniques. They know they can't compare and that is why they banter...JAS

and you can continue to stress your plants for no reason. Buds do not store fertilizer.

In MY EXPERIENCE, which is 14 years growing weed, I have found that buds that burn black haven't been flushed, and buds that burn to white ash have been flushed,
That is odd. How come my unflushed weed tastes great, smells great and burns to a white ash?
Can you and your 14 years of experience tell me why that is true?
How do buds store fertilizer?

or at least, fed to where there was not an extreme excess of nutrients laying around (hydro, bottled nutes.)
A flush is a last resort for some one that has over fed.
I feed properly and do not flush. My weed is great.

As far as using a super soil type medium, I still believe that excessive bone meal makes buds burn black.
You are wrong. What are you basing this on?
Where do you get this shitty tasting, black ash burning weed?

So, whatever all of you are doing other than flushing to get your buds to burn ash white, I'd love to hear about it

I provide my plants with the best environment I can and then I dry and cure properly.
What are you doing to get crappy tasting weed with black ash?

(since all yall can do is take shots at my experienced opinion, and not offer any evidence of your own other than "my buds burn white, brah")
Could you explain to me how it is that buds store fertilizer?

Do you really think that running 10 gallons of water through a 5 gallon pot is good for a plant?
Why would you think that?
