LED is ok for veg. I started with LED a few years ago, and almost as quickly threw them out and put in 4' flourescents (t8's actually) but they did veg nice little green plants for sure...

I want to chime in on the darkness thing and the flush thing.

I have tried 14 days - all the way to 0 days. 10 days is the right length of time for my girls in their set up... but don't be afraid to cut it back. Your plants will grow better with nutes in the last two weeks...

The difference in flush will translate to your cure. Your cured and dried weed shouldn't taste chemically after a 3 day flush.. once it's dried and cured.
My stuff that I flush for 10 days I can smoke after hanging for about 5 days. The cure just makes it that much better..
The stuff I did for 0 days burned black and tasted more chemically and harsh until after like a 2 month cure.
If you don't care about any of that.. then rock on! Sounds like you got a plan at least..When do you chop?

I am sold on a few days in the dark before you chop. The plants seem to just be frostier and danker. Same strains, same environment etc.. but that's just my honest opinion.
There's a reason why this works, but I won't get into it right now..

If you are going to do 2 days of darkness and your in hydro try a 5 day flush.
You'll hit it with clearex for 3 days. The last 2 days are in the dark... do you have a way to wrap a garbage bag around the pot the plant is in?
basically for the last 2 days I wrap my pots in kitchen garbage bags, and fill up with water so the water is above the rootball. I try and drown it for the last 2 days.
This actually starts the plant breaking down before you cure it (read as it helps with the drying and curing process).
If you want links to info - let me know, it sounds weird, but I assure you it's a pretty good technique.

If you just want to do it your own way - I'd go with 24hours of clearex and then straight water... I don't think it would hurt it, but I have always just heard and personally finished with straight water... I'm sure guys do it..maybe some one who has will chime in and confirm there's no problem running it 3 days. I haven't, so I don't want to tell you it won't if it does... if you want any harvest info.. I can point you to some good info that really helped me over the first few harvests to improve my final product.
