what are your thoughts on this?

well however it rests, the soil building amendments, processes, and all, is thought provoking. timely too, appreciate the ideas. actually, i started this thread ;-) needin' a lil help w volumes of living soil.

soo, i put grass-clipping AND last seasons dry leaves as portion of base. bet that grass will activate and be too nitro hi, until it composts some. I need moar (sic) amendments.

now how cld insects be of a concern, damn- can't I fold soil pile up into a tarp for a month. i better get some neem cake soon.. the barrels and containers sound interesting.

keeping it in a trashcan will be much easier till the time you place the soil in the pots. the only bitch is remixing it. .. but the best thing is to get a big soil tumbler.. like a compost tumbler.
Some kind of cement mixer, or composter, where u can switch out lg. plastic cans would be slick.

who said anything to you about how you do what your doing? did i? who the hell is comparing what you do to what I'm telling him to do with the soil he's making? I'm lost are you looking to be a dick or can you not read a post?
actually the original poster asked.
Perhaps it's your comprehension skills that are lacking.
as well as your organic and horticultural knowledge.
And AGAIN you resort to disrespect.

an example.
and please i know you feel like you know what our soil is and how we make it but you don't so don't sit and tell me what happens with our soil and what the fuck is in it when you have no clue what your talking about. put your little cock back in your pants and read posts properly. nothing at all was said to you other than me saying that the mix that Sunshine has listed isn't one that should be burned off in smart pots.. no one said shit to you about how you do anything you do.. i don't know what you do nor do i care.
How would you do it? so far I just used the bags of foxfarm. 5 cups of pelitized Lime,6 lbs ewc, 3 lbsblood meal and 1.5 lbs of bat guano....what else would you add?
Here is where he asked me.
So again, perhaps you want to discuss it further?
You petulant little shit.

right so what the hell aren't you getting in no way was i talking to you about what you fucking do.. what don't you get?!

that's the last time you'll be interacting with me.
Ignore time.
Have fun with your layered, water soluble soil, that STINKS.
Good job dude, keep chargin people by the lb for your shitty recipe.
Your reputation as a competent organic grower is pretty sad, we all can see it.

Thanks for the help guys.... I personally feel like a soil should be full of insoluble nutrients. Instead of packed with an excessive amount of soluble nutrients..don't get me wrong I know I need both...but I gotta think about the flowering stage as well as the veg... I don't want to add big company bottled nutrients. I also like to water in my bathtub with a healthy amount of run off... I believe watering this way with nothing but soluble nutrients in my soil will drain my nutrients and and leave my plant vulnerable during the flowering stage...I'm very new at organics. But that's how I feel

you are 100% correct in your logical assessment of how organics work in containers.
Good Job man, and you are well on your way.
