The Pineapple Express cut I got was very similar to c99. Not only does it have a mainly pineapple/citrus terp profile, it flowers fast in around 8 weeks, and has a similar plant and bud structure to c99 as well as a similar high. I'm also willing to believe that someone in Colorado with a particularly juicy c99 pineapple cut just decided to start calling it Pineapple Express when it entered the popular lexicon.

I don't think its possible the more I grow the more I like it just don't stop and some strains aint great but you get that one pheno thats like damn!!! but I wouldn't really expect everyone to have the same luck.
I like Pride of Moronia because it is my favorite.
I like Tommy Gun second best because it is second best.
Blackfoot Head is third because I like the name.
OG Creep is my fourth favorite beer in terms of flavor and hoppiness.
And behind door number five is The Johnson because it is big and strong and riddled with fat veins.

Thats why it says YOUR TOP FIVE. That's it no bullshit... And I'm used to bag seed grows so anything higher then that most likely will taste smell and smoke better... I'm trying to get up in the growing world after years of being down lol.

NL-Nirvana, Yumboldt-Sagarmatha, Skunk-Seedsman, Bubba 76-ETA, Peyote Purple-Cannabiogen, these were great but caused some breathing issues which I doubt you will suffer from. My breathing is fucked and certain strains are a no go.

dont know if id call these my favorite strains, but as of yet they are my best smokes. im still just getting back into weed so no doubt this list will change and evolve as time goes on. in no particular order:
super lemon haze - yeah its from greenhouse, but i dont give a fuck. when you get some good super lemon haze its up there with the best of them. a potent lemon citrus aroma with a cat piss funk on the side, slender hard but kinda loose buds covered in frost with a potent sativa high and lingering lemon candy taste that rolls into an earthy after taste across the tongue. did i mention the smell?
exodus cheese - ive sampled what i believe to be the original exodus cheese, which was actually through a friend who sourced a couple of ounces from just outside Luton. it was unlike any other cheeses ive tried which all claimed to be the real deal. small but dense rock hard nuggets of pure cheesey/skunky funk that left a dank aroma wafting through my whole house. on the break up the smell was even more potent and the smoke......the smoke..... one of the smoothest yet tasteful smokes ive ever had. diesely and cheesey all the way with huge lung expansion and one of the most complete highs ive ever had from a plant. strong indica effect but with a sativa tinge on the fringes, a perfect balance that left my whole body stoned but my mind racing just a little further in front. ive never come across it since (below is a pic i took, sorry about the quality i was trying to get all artistic with filters on instagram lol)
$100 OG - recently tried this (amongst other OG/Kush strains in LA and its instantly one of the best smokes ive ever had). so sugar coated it was fucking beautiful to look at with an incredible pine/diesel/citrus aroma. rock hard nuggets that where incredibly dense. i smoked it out of a blunt (i dont usually smoke blunts but i was in cali so i wanted the full west coast experience lol) but i honestly think the blunt masked a lot of the flavour, even so, i could still taste a strong citrus taste that blended into a kind of floral/citrus after taste. the high was a bit a creeper, but when it hit.... fuck i was so stoned and i was giggling like when i first tried weed when i was younger lol.... great great stuff and a smoke that i will always remember and be fond of.... props to whoever came up with that strain
OG Kush - I first sampled this in Amsterdam. I got it from babas coffeeshop. i was already high as fuck from smoking all day so i cant remember much of the OG Kush from there, i just remember it knocked me for 6. Yet again i made it my mission to try real OG Kush and it was another strain i sourced in my recent trip to Los Angeles, i asked my friends where i could get the best and most traditional OG Kush and this is what i got. It wasnt from a dispensary it was from a friend of a friend just outside of LA who grew it personally (if anyone here knows about OG Kush please take a look and see if its definatly OG Kush, id like an experts opinion lol). Anyways like the $100 OG this had the same smell but the pine scent was much more over powering, i had it in one of those dispensary containers which was in a paper bag, in my backpack, in the back of the car. And anyone who got in my rental would comment that they could smell weed lol. The buds on this where also much more fluffier and spaced out than the $100 OG but still very dense. The smoke was immense, it was weird because unlike the overwhelming aroma of pine, the smoke had a more diesel type taste like sour diesel which kinda threw me off at first because i wasnt expecting it, nevertheless it was amazing all the way from the taste, to the lung expansion to the high, which came on hard and fast and was a very strong and long lasting body high which left me completely relaxed and at ease. Amazing strain which if what i smoked was the real deal (and i believe it was), i can understand why this has legendary status (I also got some wax thrown in that was also made from the same plants, but thats a story for another time lol)
and finally:
im going back to amsterdam and sativas with this one, it was a close call between Kali Mist and Barneys 'Laughing Buddha'. But ive gone with:
Kali Mist - This is a smoke i tried on my first ever Amsterdam trip. And everytime im back in 'the dam' its one of my go to strains. As far as im aware its an almost pure sativa. It has a very strong sweet floral aroma with slender loose buds that are covered in orange pistols and sugar all the way through the bud including the stem. The smoke is not like any sativas ive had before it has an almost peppery/spicy aftertaste which is much more pleasent than it sounds. The high, comes on not too fast and not too slow, just right. It has 0 paranoia and leaves your mind racing through a sea of creative and profound thought. The more of it you smoke it starts to take on a more euphoric almost trippy/hallucinogenic property, which when your walking around the beautiful old town of Amsterdam at night makes for an absolutely vivid and sensory overload type of experience. Absolutely amazing, ive heard in the US of A its often called 'Western Wind'... whatever the case it comes highly recommended by me
im looking to start delving deep into the world of kush strains from the usa, so hopefully soon i can come back and hit you guys with a new list. im also beginning to stockpile many seeds from the west coast and of kush strains (bubba kush, kandy kush, dr green thumbs em dog, phantom cookies, candyland, gdp to name a few) and i also am being sent some seeds from a friend in cali of his own creation, i wont give lineage away yet but i will say that he had some of them picked up by DNA Genetics for their own personal seedbank.... yeah.... i got it like that

End of next month I'll have 4 Bodhi strains completed. Super stoked for those.
My top 5? That's hard. Couple stand out to me. One being a pheno of mkultra a local grower has. Chemdawg for sure. Golden goat is one I loved. Can still imagine that stench! I love my lone goji gal from Bodhi, Narcotic berry knockout.
Still wish I knew what I had in Cali many moons ago know as afghani goo.
