What can boost trichclome and resin production

I have harvested a few plants this week and I have a few more ready to harvest in about 2 weeks but a big problem I am noticing is that they are not very sticky , matter of fact they are not sticky to the touch at all. Also there is some decent trich on the buds but nothing like the frosty ones I see on here. I am guessing that this is a pretty important part of a great harvest so how do you guys do it? What can i change to increase these 2 things?

There is a lot of factors that contribute to how potent your bud comes out. Your light determines a lot along with how you care for your plant. Also what strain are you growing? It may not be a very potent one. Also from what i read a slightly longer dark period during flower will help produce resin and thc. My friend puts his plants under 11/13 a week after flower starts.

try to get your temp to drop at night but not to low it will send them in a frenzy

Lowering light cycle will not make it do that. Sorry to have to burst your bubble.

Anyway, get a uv light, the trichomes and thc are their specifically to protect the plant from the uv light of the sun. They are the plants suntan lotion. The more you break down the more it will make, kind of like with your muscles.

as someone recently said there is no fairy dust or magic potion

you simply need to dial in your garden as it is the sum of all parts that make a great grow

the UV thing is true, why I use a CMH bulb it has UVB, hell I have trichs forming on 1 week old seedlings :)

Ok so I have a 600 watt HPS light does that have any UV in it? or do I have to have something seperate. Also I have heard about molasses so Ill probably start using it, is there any recommendations to dosage and how often to use? Also I have noticed my temps get around 85 - 88 degrees at the hot parts of the day before I get home and open my tent, would high temps decrease resin production? My strains are solid high potency ranging from "super lemon haze" to barneys farm "LSD" so I know they should be producing more trichs/resin.

HPS has no UV, MH has a little, CMH same spectrum as the sun, one bulb for the whole grow

if your stuck on growing without properly understanding how things work by using weak spectrum lights you can add UV by adding lizard lights but there is a catch as you need to understand how to properly use them or they will kill your plants

hot dry weathure...... and some u.v. will boost resin content a lil... trichomes are there to protect the seed pod from heat, pest ect.... it just so happends that defense mechanism get us hgh has fuck...

i know of snow storm and me an a partner will be using it on future crops... its expensive has hell man.... how well does it work?


but remember that high thc content is mostly genetic... and just because it looks kiefey has fuck doesnt neccesairly mean that the weed is super potent.. DIFFRENT STRAINS HAVE DIFFRENT CANNABOIDS OF DIFFRENT STRENGHTS....

its uvB rays that increase the potency of the buds like reptile bulbs or tanning bed bulbs use these bulbs with the hps and you will get one hitter quitter

trichs are a responce to stress and to build the resign and its a stronger bud. it still needs to fill them with cannabinoids. nice for bag apeal.
and to get better resign use amino L-amino acids and sugars
