what can cause a small yield?

thanks again to everybody who responded! especially grnman,rite on folks! u have been really helpful! i will follow your advice on the nutes and fan leaves LOL! ill try lst and topping and later a t5 fixture! any other advice is always wanted and welcome!

What are you trying to accomplish with the T5's? How old are they again? Don't use T5's for flowering, those are mainly used during seedling stage.

well i was told and heard about the t5s for flowering. heard they can produce pretty good yields. my girl is 8 weeks old 3 in veg 5 in flower. any suggestions about lighting? i would prefer cfls only due to heat in such a small space. would one higher wattage cfl be better than several lower wattage ones? one 150 watt cfl?

I'd get a bunch of flowering CFL's or an HID light. Something small if you are worried about heat. Like 150 watt HPS.

Those bulbs are pretty badass got 2 today from walmart 16.88 for both its good deal for anyone on a low budget.

which would produce more heat? 150 watt cfl or 150 hps? can the 150watts of either produce several zips of bud? i know the hps is probably better though!

yes hps is 100000000000x better, the penetration of light is 100000000000x better, the bud is 10000000000x denser, and danker, and yea, everything is better with HPS

Basically kind of the same light setup except i use 4 of those bulbs on one 3 week old bag seed plant w/ lst training pics coming soon.

I'd say 150 watt HPS would produce more heat. But the 150 watt CFL would be better then what you got.

how much could i yield with one 150 watt cfl in a 3 gallon pot? how far would i have to keep the light from the plant?

rite now i have 252 watts and 16,200 lumens, how can one 150 watt be better than what i got iyho?

hey bud. been a while,what happened to this thread i see the last date on the 10. get left hanging. i may be wrong but the way the lumens thing was explained to me is that you cant add up all your lumens of your lights and that is what you have. each bulb only covers a certain square footage. unless you can get all the bulbs located in the same location thay are spread over a certain amount of erea. there is a math formula to forure out. if i find it in my library i`ll post it for ya.

i got most of my questions answered, everybodys hella coo about helpin out. if u look at my threads you will see my harvest. not done drying yet cause i put them in jars too quick so im lettin them dry a lil bit more so i can finally cure em. let ya know when theyre dry.
