I'm not gonna lie man you are making that tough :). I have seen every type of new grower hit these forums in the last 10 years so I am prepared for guys like you hehe.

You gotta slooooooooowww doooowwnn. This hobby/job whatever it is to you is a slow process, and rushing things and freaking out at everything will stress you and your plants out.

K>I>S>S my friend :). If you aren't familiar then that is where you should start so you can plan better for this next plant your working on.

On my plants, the buds closest to the light lost their frost on the leaves. I didnt change my routine....didnt change the temps....didnt change the humidity.

What I SUSPECT happened is that the buds were getting too much light/heat as they grew closer to the lights.

I suspect this because all of the lower leaves still have plenty of frost. Especially the ones that are a little shaded by the upper leaves.

Using a light meter, I moved the light (600w HPS) several inches higher so that the tips of the highest buds are at 75,000 lux. My distance is 13".

Strain dependant, of course, but some do not like so much light.

All in all, I'd say that was a good move for me because I seem to have better coverage thoughout the tent now.

Not saying thats your issue. Heck, I aint saying that was MY issue. Just giving an observation and an opinion.

i think my issue is a heat issue i always struggle with heat issues i think if i run an actual oscilating fan instead of a stationary fan it will help but i'd need to run an AC regardless for flowering temps are typically in the 83F-86F here year round excluding winter usually winter it is in the mid/high 70's. next time i grow which will be a few months from now im going to run flowering schedule at night to drop the heat a little more see what happens by then it should be early fall though

Hey bro... Oscillating fans definitely help with hot spots and general air circulation for sure. And just FYI I Flower in the same temperatures half the time and still get outstanding results.. and I'm a brand new grower. Heck, During the peak of summer thats just gone, I witnessed 30+ degrees in my air cooled tent lol, only issue it gave me was made the nugs a little less dense.:lol:

yea mine seem to be doing fine in the heat but it is a sativa dominant hybrid as well. imma try toy around with the heat more running an AC is going to be extremely costly for me.
