what cfls should i buy?

I plan on buying 4 2700k cfls 40-50 watt and 4 6500k 40-50watt. What are some good brands to buy from that aren't to expensive?

How many plants, how big? In my opinion any Cfl will do, if you looking for the best price on a cfl.. have you look up homdepotdotcom and others? go from there, becasue if u start going and not finding the wattage and the K's u need u will en up spending more on Gas money. Narrow it down on the net and go for it =)

Just a personal grow 1-2 plants gonna be growing indica with the scrog net so they are gonna be midgets. I'm just looking for reputable brands cuse I've heard some companies lie about the true wattage on their bulbs like the company limo studio.

Just get a name brand bulb from your local home depot man.. Dont make it too complicated

Believe it or not , Home Depot is a good source. I have bought ECOSMART CFL bulbs ... Daylight 5000k box of 4 costs $15 dollars. Soft white are 2700k around 10 bucks for 4.

These are very bright , well made bulbs.
Lumens are 1600 per 100w bulb

This is a great starting point to get you growing .
Below is a HOOD type light system I built using 8 bulbs running 5000k ( 2 bulbs in a Y splitter per socket. Perfect for at least 4 plants. ( each receive 2 bulbs per plant) . These use only 23w per bulb so it won't kill your light bill. When flowering switch to the 2700k and you are golden.

yea i watched a video on those same lights I'm gonna buy them.

But intead of using that hood i think im gonna buy a 15 socket stringlight to save money on y-splitters, hood and electrical stuff.
