And is there any way to bring that back?

Plants were smelling nice and dank from about week 4 - 7 or 8. Gave them a good water and went on vacay for a week.

1 plant was droopy and THIRSTY upin return. Gave her some watwr and she was back to normal within 30-45 minutes quite amazing, really.

The other plant was fine and was actually still damn middle to lower down in a 4 gallon pot!

That said - evwr aince I left and came back from vacay the smell is GONE! I was actually quote shocked upon arrival to it not wreaking...

I'm week 9 today and growth/fattening seems to have xome to a hault and as mwntioned there is NO SMELL.

Any ideas on what could've gone wrong and if it can be fixed before harvest?

TIA

PEACE!!

when you touch them do they smell ? in cooler temps the most volatile terps dont evaporate. or was it too hot & the most volatile terps scented the air & are now rebuilding with the plant ?

If I touch them yes, they so smell. I just find it odd the dank smell in the house has completely disappeared...

Temps have been around 75-77 with 50-55RH throughout..

One day heat got up to about 83-84 due to a dehumidifier being on however but I can't see that being a vause after 1 day. Maybe it got hotter than I thought when I was gone.

Still not sure why the pots would be reatining water for so long???

Those look too good not to have some kind of smell. When you chop them and dry them they will smell good. Just make sure to keep Temps below 70 and dark. I like my temps around 68. Keep the Rh around 55. The smell will be great

Tell me about it man. In the span of one week the smell disappeared and Im seruosuly worried as to why.

They were DAAAAAANK before I left and that was two weeks ago. I could literally smell them in the garage before coming in now and nothing.. Even right up on them.

I'm hoping the small comes back but if the terpenes disappeared (is that possible?) Will they come back?? I tend to think not and I'm freakin out lol.

Yea man you are freaking. It’s easy to do. You’ll be fine at harvest. I’d bet on it. Nice job!

I get this from time to time. Usually the girls start smelling once it warms up in the mornings.

At least it does in my experience.

It’s just doing something. I’m sure you’ll still have dank bud.

These can come from few sides... or too big heat of HPS that is close to buds.. or deficience like you got
there now when i sees a pictures... your plants show Calcium and slight Magnesium def..
also there could be lack of K as plants spend this element pretty much in later flowering
phase.. then S is also important if you give Cal-Mag..

some knowledgable people claim Sulphor in late flowering helps enhance power and intensity of smells...
but that happends in combo with Cal-Mag and others... so its about secondary elements mostly but dont forgett
to give small dose of micronutrients too when you give secondary..

Am feed them NPK but organic in late flowering, smaller dose off course but trying to put more K
in late blooming is very beneficial...

I find most plants have the most smell around the 5th week. Some growers actually chop them around 5 6 7 weeks. Once there in the dieing stage there not making terps anymore. That's when you get the most terps. That's how they get these super terpy hashs and oils. They will not produce anymore terps. 3 weeks in jars and some strains will show there true smell and it can be totally different then when it was growing. Some even way more then 3 weeks in jars.

Happens from time to time. You obviously grew it from seed. That's what you call a bad pheno type.
If you're talking about mine blue back, it's bag seed so go figure. Just A throw-n-grow in my vegetable garden So I'm not too torn up about it not stinking. I got about $15 wrapped up in her with cheap nutes and tap water.

Your plant is still young to express hole specter of smells.. it looks to me like 3-4 weeks she budding..
maybe you need to wait a bit... am sees some trychomes on her.. check her for few weeks..

Hi Dog thx for the reply!

I actually use LED lighting and they are a little over a foot away so not thinking that would be an issue as far as heat related issues but I guess it could be?

As far as the deficiencies, I think using Bloom boosters may have gotten me in the early stages of flower when the deficiencies and toxicities first started to appear. I used Beastie bloomz and also Cha Ching and the plants did not like it at all! In regards to CA/MG, I actually use that and blackstrap molasses at every feeding including water only.

On top of that, I use the full lineup of Fox Farm nutrients along with ocean forest soil so really not sure if those deficiencies would be causing this but again anything can happen I guess.

It doesnt need to be deficience if plant shows deficience... if there is lock out she will stop to absorb nutes further and
then off course you will encounter def. and lower performance of plant..

so it can be PH out of wack,or too much nutes or too less nutes...

You know best what you did.. and on one plant you can water her with 7.0 PH water till a run off comes
out of pot, catch this runoff and measure PH/EC.. that will be your best diagnose what is happening
cause you will know values..

My second grow I cheaped out on the soil, was growing a Blueberry and she smelled amazing. Sweet berries all the way, until week 7. Then she completely lost her scent. She had a pretty bad K deficiency, killed my yield, weed had no smell or taste aside from burning leaves. A couple grams of shit weed. Still got me high though.

Legal bud smells like bullshit pesticides, sweetener bullshit, faggot npk products, cock sucker snake oils, and fungal infections. In a sentence, the presence of any foreign substance is what kills a plants natural funk.
