well shit. My plants aren't looking too great. It hit 90 degrees in my grow space this weekend, does that play a role in why the bottom leaves seem to be going yellow then getting "crispy," and dying? This one is week 5 from seed

Lower leaves suffer nitrogen deficency.
By the way, those upper leaves are extremely green which is often caused by overwaterig. Do you use fertilizer? How often do you water?

I have only been watering once a week. I don't use any fertilizer, just what is in the soil (black gold organic). I haven't watered all the plants today, only 2 so far. Do you think I should not water them today?

If you are watering more than once every 3-4 days you are overwatering.

This depending on the fact you have a vigorous plant, in a properly sized container.

Soil needs to dry out thoroughly between waterings, like bone dry to the point of wilting.

My young plants got overfertilized once because i used soil that contained way to much fertilizer. The soil was intended for older plants and burned the hell out of the youngsters. Never used black gold so i dont know how strong it is.

Get the temperature under control, avoid under and overwatering, give plants lots of light, and do not add supplemental fertilizer. Give it some time and your plants should be a lot healthier
