THis is what I was told almost a week ago "The calyxes are swelling. You’re almost there. You could harvest now if the buds are hard or wait if they’re fluffy. I hate fluffy buds. Seed crops get fluffy sometimes. Genetics."
The buds are really solid.
I was told when milky with a few amber or not for more uplifting experience. The plants themselves looked like they could go for a couple of more weeks but what do I know. I saw more Amber starting so yep....I did what I was told.

I can’t imagine telling anyone that four different strains are ready to chop

Even if all the Trichomes are changing on all at about the same time? Sour Diesel started changing color the next day so it was chopped a bit later.
I just don't get what more to look for.

Trichs are just a guideline
And where you check them can skew perspective
You wait till all pistils retract into buds
You reduce nitrogen late in flower to avoid continuous new white pistils
That is about it

All I can say is I got 15oz from this grow. Been burpin and now started smokin. All flavors are nice.
I took one clone from Sour Diesel and grew outside in 3gal fabric. Moved to 2x4 for flower a month ago. Tent isn't high enough and humidity is 70 to 80% because of the 10 gal pot. I can only get the light to be 24" off scrog so some tops are 18" or so. I turned lights down to 7. Tall tops are to the outside of the tent and are getting as much as the center.
5 days before I put in 10g and flipped in tent.


31 days on 12/12 in tent. I will be moving them to the 5x5x8 here soon.

Should of started another journal. This was a test on laziness and one light per plant method. No defoliating just one FIM and LST. Stayed in the 2x4 and light was close at about 8" to the tops.
Got 11.9oz total with 8.1oz of dense tops out of this one Sour Diesel Clone! One plant per light from now on. Tops 3 jars on the left. Nothing weighed under 3/4" and that stuff went into the bubble bag in the freezer and there wasn't that much of them. Tops are hard as rocks.
Got a marble size ball of finger hash which I wish I had a pound of, OMG so sweet tasting!
