I bought a martini tonight that cost $15. At a martini bar. The bartender was in a tight black dress with a low cut front accentuating her cleavage. I guess that’s why it cost more . My husband didn’t even notice! I know because I watched his eyes the entire time. What a gentleman. And then mentioned it when we left and he was clueless. He even held a conversation with her without looking: When she was behind the bar shaking the drinks and I heard the ice bang I looked at her and maybe her breasts to see if they were shaking . Made me wonder why the hell is she dressed like that for? What a slut.
Did you give her a tip?

"What a pretty stone this is, a mosaic of rich chestnut and shining copper. It comes from the Kingston Mine, located on the Keweenaw peninsula in the upper peninsula of Michigan. According to Mr. Jack Keck of Houghton, MI, who wrote in with firsthand information as he worked for the mining company, the mine itself has been closed since 1967, making the supply of this material limited. The metal gives each stone both beauty and heft."

I picked up this piece on a lark and I'm in love. Another for the tray. I'm thinking of mounting it right away, but I want to budget about $1000 on gold to mount, and I want to be very sure of my design first.

Flowers. I used to get by without buying flowers on vday because our young cats would fk with them but then our son brought flowers in for some random dumb holiday and the cats just kinda looked at them. So now I buy flowers.
I got my husband a 2024 Silverado 10/23 so I'm done with gifts for this year. I'm allergic to flowers so he usually buys me some LOL (yes I love them dearly and take Alka Seltzer for the duration of their life in my house)

I picked up a pair of Ex Officio Vent'r hiking pants. I found them at Goodwill, the Macy's of thrift stores, so I had to pay 7 bucks plus tax. But they are 308 grams of pure bliss. When my hipbelt and pants come in contact I have been known to lose my pants, so the fact they have three ways to stay up (elastic, drawstring and belt loops) makes me happy. Also they have the watch pocket with lanyard inside the front pocket, a zip cargo pocket, one zip and one velcro back pockets.

And I can never remember how long it has been since I posted, so if I had already mentioned a pair of Columbia zip leg Omni Shade pants a couple three weeks ago, please disregard. (also from Goodwill)
