I just finished a stand to hold a 4x4 post with a small anvil on it for small forming. But I used 6013 on that. Not liking 6013...can't see distinguish the puddle from the slag very well. Im just going to run the 5 pounds worth of 7018 beads to see how it runs, then move to 5 lbs of 6010. Stick is kicking my ass, gotta get beyond snot welds as soon as I can. I have an old school post vise that needs to be remounted, will do that after my welds get less snot-like.What are you making?

We used an old refridgerator with a 100w bulb that stayed on all the time.
