no, i mean i understand that but what do it's electric wires connect to?i'm a HUGE fan of duct tape, but you can find airtight metal fastener rings at the hardware store or hydro shopmy first fan came with some, my second didn't
i use tape either way
not the ones in home depot, they just have 3 wires coming off of thema cord with a plug for the socket in your wall
not the ones in home depot, they just have 3 wires coming off of them
so what do i connect it to?One to hot, one to neutral, the last to ground. Ground is optional. but unless double insulated system, use it.
i think i'm just gonna look around until i find one with a socketoh shit, my bad. sorry, i was REALLY baked when i read that.
sounds like you need to get a plug from the electrical store or if they have it at the hardware store..
you'll have to put the wires into the pins and close the pins, then insert the pins into the plug.
Well hot and neutral isn't much a prob is mixed up. The ground will be.so what do i connect it to?
white * is hotblacks negative yellow is hot green is ground
thats wheres I got mine! it was pretty inexpensive and pretty high CFM ratting.Htgsupply.com sells the same ones already connected to a pwer cord
yea i found it i've been good thanks thoughits reallly simple. Just go to home depot and just buy a three pronged power cord in electrical and wire it to the fan by twisting the wires that match up in color together.
Just in case thats difficult..
You twist the green wire and the green wire together
then the white and the white together
then the black and the black
