Where on earth did you pick up on that? That is not close to how I feel or what I wrote.
I wont deny I have a major league problem with ultra right-wing dogma. That's my viewpoint.
And I don't hate everything that is not gay. I am a moderate whose social politics are a bit left of center.
I have some (conservative) republican friends, but I always make it a point not to talk politics when hanging out.
I do not begin to think ALL conservatives/Republicans HATE gay folks. I know that is not true.
Just because I have strong political beliefs, don't assume you know what is in my head. I like family, work, friendships, life, etc.
Would it be fair to say that you knew I was gay from other posts, did not like what you thought were very "liberal" political posts, and thought it was time to insult gays?
Yes, I insult conservatives. Insult me since you think I am liberal. But insult me for being "liberal" and not for being gay.

Ted Haggard was an American evangelical christian minister. He was very fond of preaching an anti-gay sermon to his followers.
It was eventual revealed that Haggard was having gay sex with a male prostitute, while snorting meth.

When I was in college and for a while afterward, a lot of gay men approached me. So much so, that I began to wonder what it was about me that drew them.
Eventually a lady explained it me, she was what would have been called a 'cougar' today. She was about the same age as I am currently, now that I think about it. Anyway, she said "John, gay men find you attractive for the very same reason straight women do."
That, and the blow job she expertly administered, cleared it all up.
Since then, I have taken it as a complement whenever approached by a gay man.
What the fuck people. That's the fuckin issue with people who judge others. I'm the most butchy gay redneck out there and I will and can put down on the ground in seconds any Fucker that wants to be a fuck head to me or my partner of 20 Yrs or any other person of any kind. And not just through force of Government but through the manipulation of words. If you control the meaning of words, you control the exchange of ideas. Those that support these efforts, also seek to manipulate knowledge and opinion by way of pseudo-science, social proof and manipulation of cultural attitudes. I personally, love and accept all decent people - gay or straight. But love and acceptance should be earned by appealing to the good nature of those from whom we seek it. These things should never be demanded or usurped in the manner in which Liberals wish them to be.
A good analogy would be a Mafia boss who demands respect under threat of violence. What he actually receives is fear, not respect. Respect, like love and acceptance must be earned and never obtained through force.
