so im starting my grow soon and ill be making a new thred with pics once all my shit gets here...heres what i got orderd so far...

3x fem blue berry seeds
3x purple #1 seeds
2x free fem seeds

from the single seed centre

1000 watt digtal switchable ballest with air cooled hood and both bulbs and everything to mount and move.

6 inch 480 cfm carbon filter fan combo
6 inch inline booster fan (for cool air intake)
4x4 reflective grow tent

what should i get next...im not gonna order anything i can buy in town so ducting and pots and stuff dont really matter to much..

should i get nutes? soil? ph tester? i was thinking of getting a cloner also as i plan to take some clones to grow from...

So my question is...what is next in line. I AM gonna use soil, can i get a good soil from a major store? WHAT SHOULD I GET NEXT????

also...i am gonna get digital thermomter, ducting pots and all the basic shit...THANKS IN ADVANCE

where can i get that stuff...online???? and can you please be a little more detailed....also how much do you think i could yield?

8 plants with those nutes and that soilless mix in a 4x4 space with the right veg, and hard work more than a pound. if u want me to lay it out for u i will just ask. with prices for all take me seconds

Get some good quality nutes, ph tester, and something that will give off CO2. Remember CO2 is like oxygen to us and plants need it. Other than that I think you are all set. Nice job.

yes all the help you can give would be great?.....this will be my first grow so i really want this shit to go well...ive got the basic system down just kinda lost on the nutes and what to put them in.... Id love it if you could break it down for me plus rep 2 both of you. thanks again!!!

I would highly recommend getting a rheostat for your fan!
Don't forget spray bottles, yellow sticky traps, watering can, etc.
Many PH meters have thermometers built in too.

Ok here is a link and Google some more stuff about homemade nutrients because I think it's the easiest and cheapest way to do it.

Or go get some fertilizer from Home Depot or wherever but it should be a liquid. You should dilute the fertilizer in water, something like 2 tablespoons for every gallon of water. Just look up some methods and if you need anymore help just PM me.

fist set up your grow gear. find out if you will be able to get good temps below 80. if u can go buy.

soil, 1 bag sunshine mix #4, 2 bags of fox farm light seed warrior. mix all together. thats your soil 50 bucks
house and garden nutes, small bottles of everything for a soil grow. they have a 8 week chart u will follow easy. u wont use that much cuz u will be watering with only 7 gallons. 140 bucks. there the best nutes i promise.

In my opinion and many others's, Fox Farm is the BEST soil, I would highly recommend them, unless you are worried about price. Thanks for brining it up Mango

ok thanks a lot bro...im GOING do use this method...where is the best place to buy all of this online....id prefer free shipping if i could get it... and as far as the nutes go i was gonna get the FF tri pack from ebay as ive never herd of house and garden nutes...however im a newb and if you recomend house and garden just point me in the right direction...

this will be fun in a week or so ill have a new post with lots of pics of everything.

also.....sorry i forgot this earlier....but what cfls should i get for cuttings before they go into veg...i was gonna do a mother room...but then decided it would be cheaper to just take cuttings from my plants before i start flowering...then ill take cuting from the cuttings before flowering them and so on...what set up should i get for this i was thinking some cfls would work good as i plan to veg with the MH bulb on the switchable ballast.

first google house and garden nutes. u wont get the results im talking about with fox farm nutes. ask any one. u have to trust me on this on. thats why your going soilless. using more and better nutes to build your soil. and root and grow your crop beyond belief.

soilless, some people call it a type of hydro i dont. if your serious i have pictures that u can relate to the whole way through your grow. as far as germination their r many meathods. urbarn garden magazine has a great articale to do that. my girlfriend just used one way. shell tell u now. but ask other people too .

so its kinda like a soil grow just not in soil?...i just herd its easy to kill plants in hydro set ups and all i care about is producing atleast a pound of the funkiest herb i can...
I have found house and garden nutes but witch to get..do i need both base and additives? do you know if they sell kits for my type of thing?...nice pics btw

wow i just looked at those pics again..i am high atm...VERY NICE...i was gonna buy an 8 site cloner off ebay for 60. it comes with rooting getl...do you think i would be able to clone easy with this??

ill show u what to buy but remember u only buy small 1 litter bottles. your not a bother im excited for u. its not hydro the fox farm light seed warrior has so much good shit in it. the sunshine mix #4 is a soil.

Hey Bro mongo frog told me to post here hope its helpful, One popular technique I use is: Place seeds between leaves of paper towel on a plate to germinate, add water to moisten the paper towel. Tip plateto drain off excess moisture. Place in warm location (70-90 degrees) making sure they r in darkness. Check daily to keep moist, but when water make sure to drain excess. Then when u see the tap roots carefully place them in the soilless Med, (The mix Mongo frog suggested) Plant seeds twice as deep as the width of the seed. For example plant an eighth-inch seed one- quarter inch deep. Not too deep. Keep planting med. evenly moist. And make sure your humidity in room is up, u might want to place Hum. Dome over the top with top slots open... u can adjust, and then remove as the start to grow to accumate to room. Also a note: Seeds germinate & sprout quickest when the growing med or soil tempature is between 78-80 degrees and air temp is 72-74 degrees. Peace & happy growing!
