As far as the schedule goes, you'll need to determine what media you're going to grow in and how. Are you doing soil? Rock wool? hydro? Aero? Let us know how you're going to go about this. The schedule was pretty well laid out by email already - seedling (no nutes for 2-3 weeks then 1/4 strength; vegetative stage - 1/2 strength for a week and keep an eye on them for nute burn then go full strength if there are no problems; during veg you'll feed/water but maintain mostly a hands-off approach lest you kill them with kindness. After 8 weeks of vegging or if you're growing SOG 12-18" tall, you'll flip them to 12/12. The amount of lumens and the wavelength of your light is critical to get the most out of your plant. The bluer light gives better growth during veg but red gives the max during flowering. Make sure you keep your lights as close to your plants as possible but not let them burn. Distance loses lumens to the plant as squared, not as a linear curve; 6 inches might lose you 5%, 12 inches might lose you 30% and 18 inches might lose you 80%. Make sure to keep a close eye on the pH of your water. If you're growing in a premium soil you can buffer the pH with dolomitic lime; it does an outstanding job at stabilizing it. Depending on the strain you'll probably be flowering for approximately 60 days or so. When it's time to chop, don't think you'll be smoking it the next day; you still have at least 2 weeks of drying then 2-3 weeks of curing that has to be done first. For me, it's all about the challenge of getting plants to maturity; if I get something to smoke at the end that's just icing on the cake as far as I'm concerned. Enjoy your growing experience!
