what do oyu think is the best way to germinate seeds?

i have 8 bag seeds from some of the dankest mids ive ever smoked i want to plant them but i was wondering what do you think is the best way to germinate the seeds? :joint:

yea thats what i did last time i dont really like doin it that way much what about the old damp paper towl technique?

i put them on moist paper towels...then put the paper towels on a plate and put in a freezer bag and put in a warm place.....i've never had a seed that didnt germ in 3 days

im probably just gonna put them in a damp paper towl in a ziplock bag then put it in a dark warm place do you think that will work good?

yes.....it will work.... I usually put at the top of my flower room.. pretty warm in there

I've tried putting in water, but it takes too long. imo

ya i bet most all of them will germinate my problem is once i put them in the ground most of them didnt make it a week

i always like to do the water in the cup technique . works good and looks cool, use tweezers (sterilized) to transfer to medium .

thanks heres another question when the root does come out of the seed is it best to put the seed in the ground with the root facing up,down,or the side? ive gotten many differentnt answers to that question

I just put it in root down...then i put in dark until they sprout above dirt

what happens to them? do they dry out. Try putting a humidity dome over them....and also try using worm castings....its food for seedlings that wont burn it.

hold on Bob772420, it only worked once? every time i've tried that method it works perfectly. i do mine slightly different though. i use bottled water, poor out or drink 3/4 of the bottle(i think it really doesn't matter), put the seeds in, put in a dark place(one of my closets), and just wait on them to crack. might take 1/2 a day might take 4 days just wait until they crack, patience my friend patience. oh, make sure the water is room temp or warm. i have a 100% germination rate doing this. oh, give the bottle a swirl after the first day so, the seeds sink. it's has to be the easiest way, just put them in and wait, it'll happen.
